If that is the attitude you have I feel sorry for you. It must be just down right horrible to watch football.

This is not the same team as last year, not even close.

Did we have some things go wrong, yhea we did, should we have won this game, yep. Welcome to the NFL!! It happens every week every close game played. It comes down to a few plays here and there when playing a very good team, in their house, on a very emotional night. Maybe NYJ was just destined to win this game, I dont know. But goodness gracious I feel for you if you cant see some great things from last night and feel very optimistic for this year and the future.

So 1 game and thats it, we cant do it, not this year, not ever, not with this coach, not with this QB. Screw that! Hell yhea we can.

!!!!!! First and foremost this Defense showed me balls last night. They HELD them dang JETS before our last possesion, they gave us back that ball, last year game over there. Then after the INT they gave up nothing, nothing to force that 50 yarder. THAT DEFENSE PLAYED WITH GREAT HEART. That is a new group of players out there with many of the same ole faces. ROB RYAN has brought some great attributes to this TEAM.
THAT IS NOT THE SAME. And did this completely under man'd in the secondary. We where PHYSICAL up front, crushing one of the top running teams in football, while creating 2 turnovers at the same time that where not flukes, but great plays.

So dont say this is the same team, cause that D sure aint.

Then lets look at the Offense. Miles squeezing that damn ball, taking that pigskin, DEZ going up and taking that dang pigskin, they came in waning to PUNK those corners, not scared of them, Highly competing, how do you not love that.

And that O-Line, 2 dang rookies and a 2nd year Center. NO HOLDING PENALTIES, NO DANG illegal hands to face, what, 1 false start on the PAT. Maybe I am missing one, BUT CLEAN PLAY! Where they perfect, no, but hell dont tell me that line we had last year would not have been flagged left and right and blowing assignments. They played a real good game, and it was just their first against one of the best. Great Coaching!!!

THIS IS NOT THE SAME TEAM. We got players all over this roster making plays, Sean Lee was MVP as far as I am concerned, and many more making an impact on this TEAM.

I am really looking forward to this year, cause if they keep playing like this, and I just expect the O-line and defense to get better WE ARE GOING TO WIN SOME GAMES FELLAS!

But if you want to sour into last year feel free, sucks to be you!

I agree with you 100% of course I'm upset we loss but I honestly didn't think we were going to come into New York on 9-11 and smack the Jets around but we did and still took a L. Sucks but like you said it happens every wk in the NFL. People on this board who want to bash Romo for every bad play every INT Sack or whatever I just sit back and laugh they think Andrew Luck is gonna come in and win 2-3 superbowls and Tony Romo will leave Dallas and fail anywhere else he goes. I would love to have seen what the Colts would be like if they had traded or cut Peyton MAnning ater his 4th playoff loss and 30 int season (or whatever his number was) I'm sure if you ask Tampa Bay fans if they are happy they got rid o Steve Young they wont say yes. This team is a 11-12 win team and if people want to cry over a wk one loss I usually let them you can't talk down someone who judge his/her quaterback by each pass. Good post. It was well said

Is these posts from last year aftet the washington game? I saw a team that could not finish again. We will see I think this loss could just be the begining of a real bad.year

I think the wins will come over time. I saw a fast team that was flying to the football. I haven't seen that in Dallas in many years, especially on defense.

I won't predict records, but I will say if they can take the Jets best punch, which they did, then this team can compete with anyone...and that will mean quite a few wins.

Romo needs to make sure that crap dont happen, no question. Better now than week 18

But good god! People act like the greats dont have these moments as well.
Shoot, Manning, Brady, Elway,Favre Aikmen (multiple times BTW), and many more greats have done the same, and in the Playoffs, and in crucial spots to win games, and even the Great Montana only went down as a hero instead of a goat cause the Bengals dropped the most sure INT and bone head throw before he ht Taylor. It happens, and it happens to the best. It is part of being a NFL QB.

AWW, my bad MAN!! I replied to the wrong post, I meant to respond to the one you did.

This is absolutely a different team.

The defense played with balls last night. That even being down your top 3 cornerbacks at one point.

I didn't see quit in that defense at all.

Competing with teams and taking there best shot is one thing but getting wins is another. I am sorry but what i saw out of this team was total collapse in the 4th quarter. I am not panicking just yet but my finger isnt too far from that button.

Funny. Having watched the exact same game, I saw it totally different than you. I saw a team that was changed tremendously from last season.

Defensively the same players who last season seamed lackadaisical and almost indifferent were energetic, engaged and intense. More importantly, they were making the plays!

Offensively the transformation is tremendous. A revamped, mobile and intelligent line dominated by youth and energy. Dead weight was jettisoned and the offense will improve week by week as the unit jells.

The only downsides were special teams, not surprising since if any area was neglected in the strike shortened off-season, it was the ST unit. and our poor showing in the run game. Again not surprising considered the defense we played and the inexperience of our o-line. This too will improve.

You saw gloomy prospects, I saw a great deal to be pleased about. Unfortunately, the final score was not one of them.

Oh good grief, is it really so hard to admit the team bumbled a win away? It's one week, you live to fight another day.

These "How dare you!" threads are as ridiculous as the "This team sucks!" threads.

We could save so much space. But then, what would we talk about?

BTW, I love it when the eGals bumble a game away. I live for those precious moments. :)

Big difference between How dare you, and feel sorry for you.

But not unusual around here to read something and then make some crap up to give an opinion.

Who are you to feel sorry for anyone or their opinions, really? Why people are so in shock that some were crushed by this loss is beyond me.

I am nobody, just like you. Who are you to say I shouldn't? But still going to post it, cause I want to. You dont have to read it. You could always go look for Big Bird's imaginary friend.

I think people are upset not because we lost, but how we lost.

Fans are getting pissed that at least 2-3 games a year are just pissed away by Dallas inventing new ways to lose.

For example, in another thread, Adam stated that since 2008 there have been only 4 punts blocked in the 4th quarter or OT in the NFL.

3 of those blocks were against Dallas and we were either tied or leading at the time and ending up losing all 3 games. So the saying "it happens to all teams" is pure bs. Dallas finds more ways to lose than any team in the league and it keeps happenning over and over and over again.
