We win the SB this year. Ring #6 in our own house. The Dynasty returns to Dallas.

Yep, and Romo is the leagues MVP & new single season passing TD and Yard record holder.

To accomplish the two things you ended that line with Romo would have to throw for 602 yards more than he ever has in his life and almost double last year's TD total of 26.

Not likely.

Current Records

Tom Brady...50 TDs in 2007
Dan Marino...5084 yards in 1984

Tony Romo's Personal Bests

33 TDs in 2007
4483 yards in 2009

It is okay not to go overboard.

I've said plenty of times so far that I believe Romo will smash the Marino record, I expect 5100+.
the TD record I expect us to fix our redzone issues and explode.

Did we hire Mike Leach as our new OC????

If that happens than don't expect a Super Bowl, because if that is the case it means our running game is going to suck and we will be passing 60-70% of the time.

One dimensional offenses do not win Super Bowls.

I feel good about the team over all but- the schedule for this year especially down the stretch is just brutal. :(

On the other hand... to win it all, it would be very well deserved.

*He had 36 tds in 07.

One thing I love about this year is how tough our schedule is. If we can overcome it and put up a nice record, nobody can doubt us. Everyone talks about being mentally and physically tough this year, now we will see if they actually go out and do it.

We'll be good this year. But the schedule is very tough. I still think we win the East but I don't know if we'll have the best record overall in the conference.

I love the makeup of this team.....Love the coaches except not a fan of Campo :) ........but this will be a difficult season to win it all.

We have a tough schedule and our division is the toughest in the league IMHO.

Other NFC teams will have a easier time getting wins and getting a playoff spot.....while the Boys...Giants...and Eagles will fight all year for the NFC East with the Skins having their usual upsets

If we win it all this year....and we do have the talent......we will have earned it......Lets hope for some luck.....and not too many key injuries

When fans say the same thing every year, it kinda loses its punch.

I hope, but I'm still puzzled by how some people are so confident in that O-line. If Romo gets smacked around, we can forget it. The Cowboys will run into some good pass rushers this year, so that O-line isn't going to have it easy.

Sadly though a lot of teams recently have proven that playing in a crummy conference and sandbagging wins en route to home field is a better way to go...New Orleans couldn't have beaten Green Bay, Dallas, or Minnesota on the road in the playoffs (not to mention the fact that I'd argue they were only the third best team in the NFC at best)....Arizona last year, Seattle a few years back...Indy last year....

We're going to have to be GREAT all year long in order to get homefield throughout....I think San Fran, New Orleans, and Minnesota will be sandbagging again unless Arizona and Carolina are better than I think they will be....hopefully GB will counter Minny better this year too

If and when the Cowboys win #6, a dynasty will be born, that's for sure.

I agree. The touchdown machine has too many well oiled, working parts.

To accomplish the two things you ended that line with Romo would have to throw for 602 yards more than he ever has in his life and almost double last year's TD total of 26.

He would only have to average 38 more yards per game, or three completions, to get the 602, and, if he could get 3 more touchdowns every 2 games, he would set the record mentioned above. He ought to, or could, get those TDs in the red zone easily.

If that happens than don't expect a Super Bowl, because if that is the case it means our running game is going to suck and we will be passing 60-70% of the time.

Not necessarily. This could be the most dynamic offense in several years. I expect the running game to do it's thing in the second half.
