This game, late in the season against a playoff caliber opponent, is exactly the kind of game where we've gotten blown out in the past couple years. A few years back, it was Miami on thanksgiving. Then New Orleans last year. The game where we get exposed as not as good as we have looked.

I think this year is different. I think it's going to be a dogfight, but I think at the end of this game, it's going to be clear that these are the two best teams in the NFC.

Compared to last year:

Our offense is better
Our defense is better
The coaching staff is getting better results

With the exception of our receiving corp (sans Terry Glenn), we are improved in all facets compared to last year's squad. And unlike the Sean Payton New Orlean's team, there will be no hoodoo voodoo from the Saints because of the Payton-Cowboys-Parcells connection or the post-Katrina boom. If anything, we hold the hoodoo voodoo card with Favre's winless record at the House Landry Built.

I think we are beyond that. Seriously, we have had challenges through out the year. 3 straight division games was a test and passed. First it was the Eagles, could we win there on the road. Then it was the Giants. They were much more improved since we first met. They had the sack masters, we took care of them. Then it was the Skins, the game was close, but again, Dallas took care of business.

The only game where we have failed to meet the challenge was the Pats game. Even then, we were in the ball game till the 4th Quarter. No excuses, the team is damn good.

So, Green Bay is a test, but we have been through this already. Who has tested GB? We are the better team and should prevail and pass the next test...
