Aikman wasn't a running QB. He got all the concussions because QB's weren't protected as much as they are now. If Dak had to play under the old rules he would have been out of the NFL back in 2018.

The OP says Aikman was a pocket passer. But I do agree that the old rules made it easier to beat up on QBs. Even though they were protecting QBs better in Romo's day, they sure seemed to let defenses hit him more than they did some other QBs.
