People its about having the team prepared. Its about getting the most out of the team. we are constantly unprepared in games. We don't play up to strengths.

We always have "talent". But we don't seem to get the most out of that talent. We are mediocre when we should be in the elite.

Truthfully, I'm not sure what else we can do for Moore. Might be best for him and this team if he plys his trade elsewhere. He's been on the fast tract here and yet the results remain the same. Him holding a position in name only does nothing for him or Dallas. Payton would be hands on in the offensive play calling

Our players are dumb. Our players make dumb decisions at the worst time. You can only blame the refs so much but when you're averaging 10 penalties a game and a lot of those penalties are pre snap. That's just dumb players being dumb. I don't see how a coach can make a player smarter.

McCarthy is done after this season and another 1st round playoff loss. He actually would have been safer if Dak missed the entire season and this was a repeat of 2020 because he could use that as an excuse.

McCarthy is not problem if our OC is "hands off". If a player plays bad he is benched or cut. What about poor play calling?

Exactly, the GM meddles and enables the players. The players are not afraid to make mistakes cuz they know Jerry will have their backs. This undermines the coach and we have penalty problems for 20+ years. Wash, rinse and repeat.

I might disagree some with you on this point. I believe what Payton wants he would get because that would be an agreement before he was even hired. He has more pull with the Jones boys than McCarthy. The thing is and this is what you have to ask yourself if you hire Payton are you ok with losing Quinn.

You're making some bad assumptions here. Jerry has no reason to give up the control he has. If Payton insists on it, would Jerry even agree? Only if it helped profits...even then, he'd go back on it after a year or two. See Parcells.

The bottom line is that the only thing that motivates Jerry to make changes is when it affects his pocketbook. He had to give up control for short while to get his stadium built, then he slowly took it back. Fans were getting irate at Garrett staying in even after a decade of not getting it done and Jerry reluctantly bowed to the pressure because he knew it would affect profits otherwise. Payton coming in and having long-term full control is a pipe dream. It will never happen unless Jerry unexpectedly dies.

what I posted on post game thread too, not sure what value Mike McCarthy is bringing if doesn't understand situational football and says he doesn't know the offense after 3 year ---

Hate KM and JG style of offense...always looking for knockout punch and critical 3 and outs, exposing our D time and time again. Been seeing it since Romo's days, not understanding the importance of sustaining drives and keeping defense fresh.

See games by Rodgers and Brady, they understand the importance of first downs and take shots deep only when setup the defense perfectly, not all the time. Sure it will look great on weaker team, but when you play a decent team, looks bad.

Bill Parcells understood the complementary nature of offense helping defense and I am not sure what Mike McCarthy is doing?
