why complain if you are not buying the tickets anyway?

people buy what they want to buy with their money

I think it's a disguised thread for hating on the new stadium and Jerry Jones.....

Is the view good from the 400s section? (sideline)

I thought tickets would be much more expensive than $60-80.

The 1st 6 rows are not bad, anything above Row 10 is kinda lame.

This is as good a thread as any to mention that I'm looking for 3 good seats for the 11/22 Skins game. If any are going unused for any reason, PM me.

I got tickets to the Commanders game. I paid about $200 per ticket on the lower level around the 45 yard line, but it is worth it to me to go and see my favorite team play in their first season in the new stadium.

If you're sitting in the club on the 45yd line for $200/ticket, you straight up STOLE those tickets. The face value alone is $320 not to mention the $50,000 PSL fee.

I'm sorry but $500 + parking + concessions. NO FREAKING WAY EVER. It's not about can I afford it, because I can. But these are the 2 cheapest seats available for Sunday's game, and it would easily cost me $700 total. Does anybody else feel these prices are simply unbelievable????

I could instead stay at home and watch the game on my 73" 1080p TV, and send that $700 as an extra principal payment on my mortgage. Damn I can't believe these game ticket prices man. How are there 80,000+ people at each home game putting up with this? :bang2:

Don't know where you are checking from, but I got a ticket in the corner endzone Cowboys side...2 rows from the field (Section 150) for $119

No way on earth I would go with a Party Pass. Sounds misserable.

Trust me...it is miserable. I went. I took my girl. Her legs were hurting for 3 days from all the standing on the concrete. My feet were killing me for being on that concrete for 7 hours. I'm going this Sunday and I bought a great ticket.

I'm in row 18 and it's been fine.

As for parking, there are plenty of acceptable options for far less than that.

I love it how people quote the most expensive, premium options and act like that's the only choice out there.

As I've mentioned before here, I park essentially for free. There are plenty of places on North Collins that offer "free" parking if you spend $40 there on game day. So at worse, you spend $40 on beer and food and park for free. At best, you can buy a Best Buy gift card and park for free.

You just have to do some research and be willing to walk for about 10 minutes.

But yes, if you want to park right next to the stadium, and sit in club seats on the 50 yard line, it's going to cost you. That shouldn't be too surprising.

all i can say is if anybody wants to attend a game this year at Cowboys Stadium and do it for a fairly reasonable price GO to THIS GAME !

i keep an eye on tickets on ebay and there are some great deals to be had.

less than face value seems to be the norm this week.

from past experience i would say, as long as the Boys keep winning you won't see prices at that level the rest of the year.

the rest of the games at the stadium will either be division opponents, teams with better records or the Thanksgiving game ( which used to be the easiest to get tickets for but not any longer) vs Oakland.

as for the parking, Danny White is correct there are more affordable options out there. you can park downtown for $25 bucks and get shuttled to the stadium as well as using his advice and spending $40 on something else and parking free.

i will admit i pay the $75 for stadium parking since we like to tailgate and my wife doesnt like walking. keeping her happy and wanting to go to the games is well worth it and we have a blast seeing all the parties and people.

my view has always been, if you have to ask the price, you cannot afford it

you might choose not to pay but yapping about the cost is meaningless as there is always someone else willing to pay

I went to a hockey game this year with CCFJr, his first NHL game and I paid $300.00 per ticket, about double face value so we could sit together and close. I saw my team get spanked 7-1 but he enjoyed it which is all that matters.

This is absolute jibberish. We're not talking about fine dining or a Ferrari dealership here, dude. It's a football game.

If you're the type that just hands out his wallet when you see something you want, just send me a wish list. I will deliver. Price is obviously no object.;)

I was told the parking at the Rangers ball park is also available for the Cowboys game, do you have any ideal of what they charge?

what I'd like is to date one of the cowboy cheerleaders but alas that eludes my grasp....

seriously, when the 80k seats stop filling up tickets will drop, if they keep filling up prices will GO UP.

best thing you can do if you want ticket sis look at the deals mentioned in this thread. there are very friendly prices considering the new stadium so if you choose to stay home it's because the view is good and the better and food options are far better.

i am not going to the stadium this year because i love the game projected in the media room and the ability to eat, drink what i want and not stand in line to release that beer but i am not going to complain about prices.

it was far harder to come up with 50 bucks as a college kid to go to a concert than 250 as an adult to go to a cowboys game.

There's cash lots there that are a bit of a hike, but I think they're around $25 or $30.

They also offered Rangers lots to some lower-end season ticket holders (like me) for anywhere from $40 a game to $60.

Now that I figured out the situation, I'm glad I passed on those.

Not too bad, heck the motel across the freeway from Texas Stadium was charging 20 bucks to park. Paying an extra 5 to 10 sucks but what is a poor boy to do. Thanks for the information.

Can't really blame them for the prices. They sell out all the time, if people are willing to pay those prices, they will continue to be that high. That's how it works with like.. everything. If you have 100 of an item, why sell all 100 for 20$ a pop when you know you can sell all 100 for 120$ a pop?

Prices only go down when people start saying **** off and stop buying it. But that's not in the nature of our culture.. so it wont' happen :)

You clicked on the wrong link. You picked (single game tickets) ticketmaster instead of ticketexchange from the Cowboys website.

Plenty of cheap tickets for that game. Starting at $59 a ticket.(That's not counting the party passes)

http://www.ticketexchangebyticketma...ts-at-Cowboys-Stadium-in-Arlington?PID=828842

Also, a lot of hotels near the stadium have a shuttle to and from the game absolutely free!

Most leave every hour on the hour until game time.
