This Loss: Good for the soul

So much for my 45-10 blowout prediction...

It's ok for us to get a little taste of humble pie this early in the season. Too many handjobs from the media and the players/fans bought into it. Just seeing how flat we played today shows me that this team isn't mentally tough enough. So, it's probably good we got this punch in the mouth.

How the Cowboys respond from this will say a lot more about this team than getting another easy win and more ego strokes from the media. A week of "what have you done for me lately" is exactly what this teams needs right now.

I don't care a loss is a loss and a loss sucks. did i think we where going to go 16-0? no, doubt anyone did, but to see a team come out flat for a home division game is not and will never be something you can put a positive spin on. When your HC is in a constant state of denial learning from your mistakes is not an option.

Well, every NFL team needs wins. The Cowboys simply deserved to lose today and they did. But just because we lost today doesn't mean the season is over. We'll battle through this and get tougher.
