I think it’s the way he hams up the team. The comments he makes throughout the offseason. The seemingly congratulatory remarks on another great wild card/divisional round season. Like this week for instance: the big story out of Jerry was how happy he was that the Eagles lost and he stayed up until 4AM thinking about it, like Dallas had already achieved something. Do you think Chris Ballard makes a comment like that? Mickey Loomis? Howie Roseman? JonSchneider? It’s weird; it sends weird messages to the team, it creates a weird atmosphere around the organization, and it creates an uneasiness when Dallas is put in these situations and he talks like that because we’ve seen it so many times before.Interesting, but do you mean culture issue as in toughness outdoors? Because I think it’s more likely losing to good teams on the road. It’s just tougher games.
Prescott is also a factor in that time frame. I’m not one of the people that things he needs to be tied up and rolled out of town in a barrel, but I don’t have high confidence in him. (though he wasn’t the problem today)
Jerry has been a strong GM in the roster development department but everything about Dallas beyond that is just so… weird. You’re clearly not the same team on the road, and it shouldn’t be that large of a disparity. Not as much about toughness but mindset which incubates inconsistency. Jerry is a mind worm
