This season's schedule may be the oddest one in all of Cowboys history to date.
- The Cowboys are playing a regular-season game (Jaguars) in London. First time in franchise history.
- The Cowboys will not have played an NFC East game until this upcoming Giants game - their 7th game of the season. Never before have the Cowboys gone this deep into a season without having yet played an NFC East opponent.
- The Cowboys play the Eagles twice in 18 days. Can't remember the last time the Cowboys had two regular-season games with the same opponent scheduled so closely together.
- The Cowboys will play all of their NFC East divisional games within just a 10-game span. I don't think that's ever happened before.
- The Cowboys have three home games in a row. That's not too remarkable, but it's not common either, and it adds to the oddity of an already-unusual schedule.
