Eagles have the better overall roster, retooled and restocked every year by Howie "Satan" Roseman, the man with the keys to the franchise.
Commies have the better QB and a roster retooled with draft picks and FA's that make immediate contributions, thinks to aggressive GM'ing.

The Giants have inept ownership and a GM that ensures continued Giants suckage and rent-free 4th place status.

I know we like to bash Jerry and his son, but Jerry didn't get to where he is in life by being stupid. Is there some sliver of hope that Jerry, seeing two NFCE teams in the NFCCG, knows that the climb to the top is now blocked by two division rivals, as well as a stacked Detroit roster and a resurgent Rams team that will only get better? Yes, I I've seen posters say that we should have swept the Commanders. Those posters overlook the fact that the Eagles curb stomped us twice, once with backup QB's. Jerry is probably near the end of his days. I'm sure he doesn't want to pass away before seeing one more Super Bowl featuring his beloved Cowboys.

What will make Jerry see the light???? I'm no spring chicken myself. I want to see another Lombardi before I pass on. Can Jerry see the arrow pointing in the direction we need to follow?

The big problem is Jerry pays the bulk of money for O he still lives in the triplets days and doesn’t get the D was top too. There needs to be a HC that’s D minded but KM is rising to the top as the eagles advance. Jerry believes Dak can win regardless of the last 9 years.

he is not stupid. nobody claims he is stupid. no he is one of the best salemen ever. he is a great businessman. he sucks as a football GM. and all three of those can be true.
His top priority is not winning championships. his top priority is money and increasing value of cowboys. he needs cowboys to be in the media as much as possible. he needs cowboys to be just relevant enough. just good enough. why? because then all yay sayers and nay sayers are talking cowboys. if we sucked, none of the yay sayers are involved. if we are awsome, then nay sayers are not involved. we get the most coverage when we are just in the middle. we were 7-10 team. with tons of injuries. barely good enough for anything and we were 2nd most watched team in the NFL. people love to love the cowboys. and love to hate the cowboys and jerry wants both talking about the cowboys.

this team will continue like this as long as Jerry and Stephen are in charge.

on the other hand, we are the most profitable football team and the most valued franchise of any sport in the world. goal accomplished.

Jerry isn't smart, nor a self made man. He was born wealthy, and it takes money to make money. He is stupid. Any man that can't get over his own ego after all this time is stupid.

He is stupid and it's cognitive dissonance to deny it at this point.

historically, the NYG ownership family has been pretty darn good. But they have been prone to making mistakes recently with the GM/ football VP type position. And its had a trickle down effect. I would take the Mara family in a heartbeat over jerry and his gang of goofs.

We're not dealing with some mentally agile 45 year old Jerry. Have you heard him try to give a complex answer?

Look at his "plan" for our HC position.
Jerry was never agile even then. Only reason we won then was because he was busy dealing with the financial side of the organization while Jimmy was building a championship team.

Ever since he ran Jimmy off he has been trying to play that role and has failed miserably.

No he can't. Jerry prioritizes his own control over winning. He has never understood that managing a roster/ constructing a team involves more than just paying for it.

So, we don't have a full time dedicated GM helping him navigate NFL talent....which is also why we tend to sign our guys regardless of the price instead of finding better options in free agency.

NY held onto Danny Dimes for too long.

Philly makes bold moves but isn’t afraid to get out of it. They went through rollercoaster of QBs after McNabb. They even had some success, like Foles’ first time in Philly when he led the league in passer rating. But they never committed. They could’ve let Wentz cripple them but they drafted Hurts even when they had a young Wentz a removed from an MVP season. They released Foles immediately after winning the Super Bowl. And I can see them moving on from Hurts if he has one bad season.

It might get the same thing in Washington. They quickly gave up on highly drafted Haskins. They had some early success with Henicke and Howell but jumped on the opportunity to get better.

You sure about that preppy?
Yep. We've seen Jayden Daniels take a Washington team that was horrible last season to a NFC Championship. Yes, they got a new HC and staff along with a new GM, but Daniels makes a huge difference. Same thing happened with the hapless Houston Texans. Landed Stroud and all of a sudden they have been to two straight playoff appearances.

The Giants have cap space to land free agents (something Washington did last offseason). If they land the right QB it wouldn't surprise me if they could have a quick turnaround as well. If Cam Ward or Shadeur Sanders are the real deal, yes the Giants have a chance to be good next season.

Obviously, they have to hit on the QB though.

Jerry is not stupid, but he may be losing his faculties at age 82.

Dallas should have beaten Washington twice. But that says more about Washington than it does about Dallas. I think Washington is playing way over its head now. We'll see how next week goes for them. But we've seen teams get a lot of confidence in the playoffs and surprise people. I think the Commanders are in that category. Look at their roster. They don't really match up with the Eagles, or the Lions, but they are playing with a lot of confidence and anything can happen.

At the same time, the Cowboys are so far behind the Eagles I do not see how they can catch up to them in a single off-season. And you know the Eagles will do whatever they can to identify weaknesses in their lineup and fill those weaknesses with quality players. I don't think Jerry Jones is up to the task.

The Giants are a QB away from turning it around like Washington did.
come again? No run game, no WR, no QB...no OL...I can go on. If they draft properly and build in FA, they could be a few years away but not even close yet. There is also no QB like Daniels in this draft

They have cap space. If they hit on the QB (Ward or Sanders). They could make a jump much like the Texans did with Stroud and 3-14 Washington did with Daniels.

Again, if Ward or Sanders are the real deal, why would it surprise anyone that the Giants could improve? They already have a future star playing at WR and the defense has pieces.
