As far as football is concerned, the site also mentions Tyler Guyton played:
a) primarily as a defensive lineman in high school
b) one game his freshman season
c) while splitting time at tackle as an H-back
Obviously, Guyton's athleticism added versatility for how his coaches would use him. However, his pre-professional career has been extremely limited at the position he was drafted for.
This was my main concern when his name was called on day one of the draft. It deepened watching him struggle with his transition back to left tackle on the pro level. Dallas is testing his athleticism and versatility at their extreme.
Hopefully, the gamble will pay off. Some players can successfully switch to positions they were not either strongest or proficient before reaching the NFL. Others fail. Guyton must fall into the former category, mainly for Dak Prescott's sake. Blind side protection falls squarely on his shoulders.
