Now if Troy Aikman can stop with the weenus envy and realize that Jason Garrett will be a head coach some day, and Troy will still be talking nonsense to Joe Buck and failing in the automobile industry. My guess is that Jason will stay true to his colors and wait the job out. It's his for the taking. He's like coach Payton. But he's a lot better.

I like the av, too. Garrett and Romo are a great combo.

I also think Garrett is smart enough not to grab at any job that comes along. Hopefully most of those job offers he might get have poor QB prospects and Garrett smart enough to know w/o a good QB the odds of him succeeding are stacked against him. Frankly, although he showing he's a pretty good OC with a talented offensive team, I wonder what he knows about the defensive side of the ball. What kind of defensive scheme does he want, who would be his DC, etc? Those are tough questions which he might have to answer. So I'm hoping he gives careful consideration to any offer but then turns them down to stay at least 1 more year. Jerry might have to pay Garrett the big money to stay but have no doubt he will.

Other than the Grimley/Short flashback it is a good pic. Garrett is not going anywhere. Dallas is 10-1 and will only improve over the next few years. Why would anyone in their right mind want to leave that potential?
