Enabling
Negative use
In a negative sense, "enabling" can describe dysfunctional behavior approaches that are intended to help resolve a specific problem but in fact may perpetuate or exacerbate the problem.[1][2] A common theme of enabling in this latter sense is that third parties take responsibility or blame, or make accommodations for a person's harmful conduct (often with the best of intentions, or from fear or insecurity which inhibits action). The practical effect is that the person himself or herself does not have to do so, and is shielded from awareness of the harm it may do, and the need or pressure to change. Enabling in this sense is a major environmental cause of addiction.[3]

And this just doesn't apply to the Randy Gregory situation. It also applies to Greg Hardy and his sideline rants. Dez Bryant and his sideline rants. This team has time and time again allowed players to run amuck with no consequences. There is no accountability. Everyone knows Jason Garrett is Jerry Jones' puppet....and all the clapping and cheering isn't gonna change how the players respond.
Nope. It's time the team brings in a head coach that instills fear. Fear for their jobs. Fear if they don't live up to expectations there will be consquences.
Until then....this organization is gonna continue to suffer black eyes like yesterday.
Jerry Jones needs to realize this is his doing..... and accept responsibilty.
In accepting responsibilty there needs to be action taken....and it starts @ the top.
As long as we have a head coach that is just a head coach by name....then these type of setbacks are gonna continue.
