I was just having a discussion about WRs and cowboyny was talking about Paris Campbell having speed, which inspired me to go look at his tape. He looked solid for Indy. I don't think he played much in Philly. So I'm looking at his potential as opposed to his recent production. Good route runner. Plays well in traffic. Will take a hit. Slithery after the catch. Adds speed. To me, it looks like a sneaky good signing.

Have a look.

HE played pretty well at WR St...not sure what's happened in NFL.

And...not sure it's Dak/DC that can crack the code. Other than CeeDee...we've had trouble bringing out the best in WRs/TEs.

"Looked solid in Indy"

18 catches his first year. 6 catches his second year. 10 catches his third year. Missed a bunch of games all 3 seasons.

Then in year 4 he broke out for 63 catches and 3 TDs at a whopping 9.9 yards a catch. Showcasing all that speed.

He's a roster filling stiff.

He's had a lot of injuries, which has hampered his progress in the league. You can see he can play, if healthy.

All those missed games were injury-related.

I like the potential.

Colts fans talk about how he should have been utilized more in the slot.

We'll see, I guess..

Don't know if he can play but I'd give him a shot. I don't get the urgency and desperation for a "number 2" with this team. I don't recall this talking point in 2022 or 2023 when the offense was putting up points. Playoff failure has nothing to do with a wr2

I don't know, but I for one am tired of having a team full of high-SPARQ players who can't actually play football.

At some point we need actual players, not just athletes you hope can figure it out one day. But what's what the old wildcatter loves.

He couldn't help the NYG when they probably had the worst WR corp in the NFL.

Went to Philadelphia and did nothing.

I don't think he makes the roster.
Yeah it’s hard to see him being anymore than a James Washington. He has speed but speed isn’t enough.

You’re not alone. I liked what I saw from him when he was on the field, especially when he had a decent quarterback throwing the ball to him.

All these JAGS that Dallas signed Schotty will make them all pros. The Jones boys playing chess.

He’s a below average WR. So is Mingo. Don’t kid yourself. We have CD and that’s it. Our GM and his son are terrible for this organization. I would invite you to take my stance. Watch them and even root for them, but don’t waste your time thinking they will ever be a championship caliber team. You’re better off spending your time with family and friends, or on hobbies, or relaxing or whatever you enjoy. Don’t waste it on this ownership. You only get so many minutes in your lifetime and over half will be spent working and sleeping. Jerry and Stephen are not worth our minutes.

Damn I be feeling the opposite. We don’t have enough athletes…enough overly freakish athletes.

He played like he could be a No. 2 receiver his only fully healthy year in Indy, but I want to understand what happened after that when he went to New York. I can understand that injuries set him back with the Colts, but I haven't seen a good reason for his lack of success with the Giants.

Fair enough. I just hope he stays healthy so we can see what he's got and go from there.

My favorite to make the team is Jalen Cropper.

I've lost any hope I had for Cropper. I mean, some players bloom late, but all we've seen from him are flashes that keep him around on the PS.

I think our six receivers will come down to Lamb, Draft pick, Tolbert, Turpin, Campbell, Mingo and Flournoy.
