Video: This Paris Campbell Kid Can Actually Play

Damn I be feeling the opposite. We don’t have enough athletes…enough overly freakish athletes.
We need more of those who can actually play football, yes. But the Mingo and Mazi and Bossman Fat and Sam Williams types who look good in the Underwear Olympics but can't really play don't do us much good.

Watch them and even root for them, but don’t waste your time thinking they will ever be a championship caliber team. You’re better off spending your time with family and friends, or on hobbies, or relaxing or whatever you enjoy. Don’t waste it on this ownership.
The ownership is merely the current imposters posing as the front office of this once proud origination......they are simply managing the decline.

The trick is to live long enough to outlive their clans ownership

Oh I am. I have no issue with him. We had a guy last camp who could run too and had a good camp early on and was cut. Seems like a similar situation.
Tyrone Billy Johnson. Been in the league since 2019. Bounced around 8 different teams with 3 stents in Houston. Classic case of being maxed out at his development… slightly better than first year rookies is his ceiling. Not someone you hold onto when there’s someone with a higher ceiling to develop.
He signed with Birmingham of the UFL and was cut!

Yeah to me those guys aren’t just overly freakish athletes. Like to me Byron Jones was one because he could jump out of a stadium. Micah is a freak and freakishly athletic and fast at his size. To me Mazi, Mingo and Bossman….theres guys like them all over the league. There aren’t many Micah’s.

I want football players too don’t get me wrong but I don’t think this team is really freakishly athlete dependent. We could use some more.

Yeah that’s him damn forgot this name already. Campbell is faster but this seems to be his destination.

"Looked solid in Indy"

18 catches his first year. 6 catches his second year. 10 catches his third year. Missed a bunch of games all 3 seasons.

Then in year 4 he broke out for 63 catches and 3 TDs at a whopping 9.9 yards a catch. Showcasing all that speed.

He's a roster filling stiff.

Hes no Tolbert huh?

It will be interesting to see what receiver develops a relationship with Milton during mini camp and through the summer. I think Campbell could be a top candidate in the one on one drills.

The receivers need to develop a relationship with Dak.

He couldn't help the NYG when they probably had the worst WR corp in the NFL.

Went to Philadelphia and did nothing.

I don't think he makes the roster.
One had no qb the other was loaded in the depth chart. Agree, he won’t be fighting to start, but could improve the depth as we do t have many types of receivers with his skill set

No knock on the kid but he simply is what he is….a long shot.

And the truth is, the NFL is full of guys who have a boat load of talent but for a multitude of reasons aren’t able to translate that into bankable success. Paris Campbell is a good example of that. He has a chance to beat the odds. But they are slim.

I already have a history of supporting Gallup way too long and was the same on Tolbert. I've now reached the point of just accepting this may be as good as he gets for us. Hope you're right.
I think he gets better with a QB who can actually throw, though.
