Yes that play and several others. The roughing the passer call was iffy. Then you have the roughing the punter instead of the blocked punt. Then you have the fumble that should have been challenged. If any of these plays go in favor of the Cowboys, it changes the game.

Why in the world didn’t MM challenge that fumble ? And like Olsen on the broadcast said it’s a sin to leave your feet when blocking the punt because you lose all control and the punt is going to get off as you crash into the academy award winning punter . Get Sam Williams off the punt team as of yesterday .

You could tell what team was going to win the Bills game especially by half time. We won't see them again because they are going to have a problem making the playoffs. We will be in the playoffs and that's that. One and done or whatever happens, we will be in the post season. I for one have high hopes for this team and one loss will not change that fact.

I agree. As much as I like to bash Dak and blame him for everything it was our defense that lost it for us. Dak could have played at his MVP like level since the bye but I don’t believe it would have mattered. Allen didn’t have to use his arm at all because the defense was awful. Now the fact that Dak played like Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchison certainly didn’t help the cause.

I’m still disappointed that in every aspect of the game we didn’t show up. Coaching, offense, defense and STs all performed badly. Only Aubrey was good. That’s a bad sign when only your kicker shows up.

It wasn't an obvious fumble and the Bills rushed to run their next play quickly...easy to question the call not to when we had time to wait for video replay. If this was late in the game I think it's different. Could have been a game changer though....somebody should have faked an injury to give us time

It seems that way but momentum could've changed a lot. We don't lose like that because of talent alone. There's a ton of mental that went into the beat down.

It would have been a tremendous response. However our Defense who was just on the field for a 7 minute drive would have been eight back on defensive with little to no rest.

Spoke about this in another thread. When you get an ultra-rare 7 yards of cushion in the pocket and in the position we were in, you have to make that happen. Forget trying to hit the guy in stride, just make sure he can get hands on it and maybe you also get a PI. It was a rushed throw with no rush present.

But this isn't the biggest "what if" of the season. That was in Philly with 1st and Goal and time to run 3 plays for a chance to steal a game we had no business winning. The 2 seed would be ours right now with an outside chance at the 1.

And then there's Greg Olsen saying gosh Dak didn't have anybody open and then the tape shows CeeDee streaking down a post wide open and totally frustrated cause Dak not throwing the ball
So yeah, the outcome could have been different.

Then there's the 2-3 easy ints that were dropped thank God.
So there's that.
The bottom line
Dak struggles with good zome defenses
Nothing has changed.

not sure. bills showed all night they can make long drives, 11,12, 11 play drives to score. big plays can be taken away. we showed no consistency to move the ball on offense.
the ifs, were the penalties. 2 steps forward, 3 steps back. you make a stop, then you committ a penalty, given 4 new downs, they score a TD. you get the roughing the passer penalty, then you try to play tough guy. no need, just go pick up your QB, and throw a few cuss words at the defender. you get a first down, a stupid stupid holding penalty and you are now in 2nd and 19. you get a fumble, but didn't call a time out when you saw them to try and line up quickly, that should have indicated, they think it was a fumble. everyone failed in this game. coaches on down.

p.s.
Its hard to overthrow Cook with his speed, so that was interesting.
