This play could become one of the biggest ‘what-ifs’ of the 2023 season

You could tell what team was going to win the Bills game especially by half time. We won't see them again because they are going to have a problem making the playoffs. We will be in the playoffs and that's that. One and done or whatever happens, we will be in the post season. I for one have high hopes for this team and one loss will not change that fact.
Not worried about a loss. But the way we lost. Lack of effort or even interest....will not serve us well.

The way the bills ran the ball and how our defense played that play would have just stopped the bleeding temporarily before we bled out
i'm not so sure they hammer the run like that if we're in the lead or tied. seems like gamescript gave them the opportunity, and from there it just played out perfectly

I love how people take one play and run with it.

MTV rock and jock 50 point play!!!!

We almost won …. Soooo close
lol. true. we got our butts kicked, but i will say as it began to slip away, that play was on my mind. couldve been a huge tone setter

Maybe, but Buffalo would have had to stay committed to the run, their pass rush would have had to account for the full Dallas playbook, and Dallas would not have been so lifeless.

Why in the world didn’t MM challenge that fumble ? And like Olsen on the broadcast said it’s a sin to leave your feet when blocking the punt because you lose all control and the punt is going to get off as you crash into the academy award winning punter . Get Sam Williams off the punt team as of yesterday .
He's been good at it. He made one mistake, and it was a costly mistake but it will probably be corrected, and you wanna jettison him?

You are applying a world without meeting the challenge. If working properly, the Dallas can keep up with any team's offense, even running the ball.

The defensive end area can be shut down by this team against any team running the ball. For the rest, Dallas can keep up.

If Dak hits Cooks and Williams blocks the punt, the Cowboys lead 10-7 if not 14-7.

if if's and but were candy and nuts wed all have a merry christmas. That was a huge miss but no less important than the 2 personal foul plays. Or the fact that McCarthy didnt challenge a for sure fumble or the fact that they rushed for over 200 yards

If your narrative is the cowboys lost because dak stinks as a QB then thats the play to focus on .If its this TEAM doesnt seem to rise to the occassion against good teams on the road and find a variety of ways to mess up then you see the whole picture.

But but the WRs don't get separation...
Use motions and alternate routes...this changed little beyond long and incomplete long routes with increased QB pressures. Then on the right side was no Martin and Steele. That a problem also?

Yea, that is a remedy alright...stick a head in the sand and act like there is nothing out there...

I thought this thread was going to be about Sam Williams jumping over a punt instead of blocking it, then roughing the punter.
That only became 7 points instead of shutting them down, in a 21 point loss. Tears and all!

How many times have we seen this?
How about those overthrows for the division vs the Eagles to Austin?
Or the Saint game (12-10) Loss to Gallup?
Nothing changing as his accuracy has always been in question big time.

Half time is when scheme changes come in...nothing changed to stop the run.

Oh please. They were gassed and packed it in in the 4th quarter, but it was the penalty calls that put the game out of hand.

Like was DLaws penalty because he wasn't playing hard? Williams? Kearse?

What are we talking about here? Why is this board obsessed with making fake narratives like this and acting like they're anything transferrable.
