He’ll also be remembered for, at least for a moment, being the highest paid NFL player ever.
.....then he's matched another segment of TRomo's legacy ......"the highest paid NFL player ever", at pne point.

I’ve been a more staunch defender of Dak than some of you over the years, and nothing that happens this postseason will change the reality that he’s a far better quarterback than many here will ever give him credit for. But now it’s time. The stars have aligned and this postseason will in all likelihood be what his career is ultimately remembered for.

He gets two home games against two average to bad defenses (GB and either Philly, Detroit or TB) and Dak Prescott at AT&T Stadium is the best QB in football over the last three years. Full stop. The statistics are undeniable. He has the #1 QBR and #1 adjusted YPA in home games of any QB in the league in that time. The margin of victory in games he has started at home has averaged over 2 touchdowns, the most in the league. His record at home is 20-3 in that time, and he has won 14 straight. It will be very difficult to paint a loss to an inferior team in these next two games as anything but the stage being too big, because he and this team have been so dominant at home for so long now.

Now what happens after can be debated. Do they get a third home game? Do they go on the road to SF, and how is this team and its QB judged by a loss in the conference title game in California? I don’t know but what I do know is that Dak will most likely never be remembered as anything other than a good regular season QB if we don’t win these next two.
Prescott will only be remembered as a regular season stats compiler if he doesn't reach the Superbowl. The Cowboys are far superior to the Packers whilst they will be strong favourites at home against the Lions/Rams.

Prescott and the Cowboys have had a Superbowl calibre roster for the third successive season - it would be another huge failure to not at least reach that target.

I don’t think it’s his whole legacy. He still has a few good years left. It is the best chance he has had though and if he is terrible after the regular season he had the haters are going to be relentless.

Some fans will never release their clutch. We've already witnessed the flip-flopper fans her throughout the season. As soon as the team plays over par, they come undone and want to trade the QB.

Why do we never see the "Are you happy with Dak" threads unless we lose?

With the way our defense is playing i expect more of a shootout in the 35-31 range
Defense is playing well, but these are playoff level teams that can score, so even playing solid defense you aren't likely to hold teams to 10-13 points.

maybe we watch different games but we have 0 push up front, we are playing pretend defense that doesnt work and our LB corps is suspect and now Gilmore is injured.

The 4 consecutive sacks yesterday in the 2nd half cant fake my eye test.

Parsons has declined late into the season just like last year.

Not even close. Parsons was playing injured last season and was clearly hampered. Did you even watch his pursuits last night?

Cap. The niners roster is better than this cowboys roster and it’s not really debatable. Losing to a better team than yours in the conference championship is not a failure, that’s reality

And if our OL, run game, or defense don't show up? It'll still be all his fault for most people on here. This is a team game at the end of the day, people forget that.
Team game Only applies if we lose.

If we win, it's all Dak.
