I have a friend who works for the Cardinals. He's not a Cowboys fan but he knows I am. I can't imagine how he ever figured that out.

He sent me an e-mail this morning.

Hey man. I got some news for you about your first round draft pick. I was talking with one of the scouts the other day and he said Bill Davis and Donnie Henderson were talking about pass defense and they think the addition of Dez will make your offense lethal. The team they least wanted to see him go to was Dallas.
Davis is the DC and Henderson the DB Coach.

He also made a comment about my fat head getting fatter which made me laugh.

I wonder if the Cardinals would have taken Dez at #26 since they traded Boldin? We know per Schefter that Baltimore was snagging him at 25 so it is a moot point, but I can't help but wonder if Dez was on their wish list.

I'm already fired-up but this is just icing on the Cowboy Cake:D

Well, Bryant already has Boldin's skill set. Plus, he could have been brought aboard without Anquan's temper issues. I could see them making a play for Bryant.

Are we their rival or something? An NFC West team makes more sense.
It possibly has more to do with their future outlook for potential NFC conference playoff contenders.

Two words: Matt Leinart.

We're everyone's rival.

You're not going to tell me you'd be nonplussed if he went to a team like the Vikings or Saints are you?

Fans, sports writers in other cities hate us. Save for our divisional opponents, the guys who play the game could care less.

Better them than actual rivals in the East.

You might want to read the book by Bert Sugar about hating the Cowboys. Debunks this idea completely.

That's not debatable and it doesn't answer the question.

Two more words: Doesn't matter.

Realistically or not, they are not projecting their season to fail simply because Kurt Warner retired.

If 9 gets time this Offense is going to be wicked.

Hos I always knew u had a fat head:D

Oh it was a lucky guess juck.

;)

I'll get even with him. We always crack on each other.

I think a lot of teams would tell you that us getting Dez Bryant was the last thing they wanted to see happen.

We already had a top offense in terms of yards. A player like this will help us start putting more points on the board, not to mention Martellus Bennett and Felix Jones.

Despite what people might want to say Roy Williams is still at least a legit #2, and if he plays to potential can be a #1. You combine 3 potential #1 receivers, with a pro bowl qb, and a top shelf rb corps...

This post makes way too much sense.

Just throw in some exceptional O line play and.......

Off we go... Deep into January.....

Didnt we all think what the Cardinal coaches think the second Dez got drafted? Looking for a big increase in PPG from the offense this year if Romo stays upright.

I see or talk to Bert a couple times a week. Now I'm going to have to read up on this.
