Boy, 6, Sends Brandon Jacobs $3.36 To Keep Him A NY Giant

mljwjk.jpg

The 6-year-old fan couldn’t understand why Jacobs was leaving the Giants and sent him a letter that read, "So you could go to the Giants, here is my money. Love, Joe." His mother had earlier explained the switch by saying, "The Giants didn't have enough money to keep him."

In his tweets, Jacobs posted a picture of the note and money and wrote, “The kid thought the giants didn't have enough money to bring me back, so he sent me 3.36 cent to come back it was the best ever. I almost cried, I am still trying to hold it in. I may have to pay him a surprise visit.”

Makes me hate him more. He took the kids money and didn't return to the Giants. :laugh2:

Brandon Jacobs can take his $3.36 and go to ****. (but nice story, OP).

Why does this make you even remotely like Jacobs? He didn't do anything.

Brandon Jacobs gets no brownie points in my book, no matter what.

News story splashes that BJ saves a cloistered nun from a burning fire after coming upon a convent suddenly engulfed in flames, having driven there with the intention of donating money for needy children... . Meh! The guy still sucks.

The bad will he's created for himself cannot be balanced out by any such occasional, wayward, happenstance-type moments of seeming humanity he might display. Not in this lifetime.

My sincere dislike towards the guy is the direct result of his concerted efforts to elicit just such a response from me as a Dallas Cowboys fan over time. He definitely succeeded. Won't ever be easily washed away. But I'm not bitter. :)

Kudos to the six-year old boy and his mom. Cool story as their involvement in all of it.

Grownups start website for donations to help end Drew Brees' holdout.

Well honestly it doesn't make me remotely like him. It's just a feel good story about the kid... If anything, it proves he isn't some heartless SOB.

:p:

I hope he does at least visit the kid and do something special like that for him.

I think he said something about taking him out to eat with his son who is close to his age. That would be pretty classy if he does.

A scumbag is a scumbag no matter how much he keeps the money he gets from the chilldren he fooled.
