This Super Bowl sucked

Bleh, terrible game with a good ending, making it seem better than it really was.

Dude stop being bitter hater. The G-Men deserved/earned this win. They beat everyone on the road in the playoffs and faced very long odds. I take my hat off to the them.

Why?

I hate the Giants.

I am bitter.

I hated this matchup. I couldn't imagine a worse matchup....well, the Commanders.

But in this SB, there was no winner for me as a Cowboy fan.

If some of you liked the outcome.....good for you. I could find no joy in this game. Yes, it was exciting at the end.....but that excitement was quickly replaced by gut-wrenching sickness.

I hope our players are as bitter about this as I am. I hope they go into next season focused to never let this happen to them again.

Giants D made the difference. Eli played just good enough to win. The last two touchdowns by both the Pats and the Giants came about because the CB guarding their #1 WRs blew it.

There was absolutely no way I could enjoy the game.

Seeing the smug faces of a group of crybabies really gets me.

Of course, I don't think I could stand to see the Pats win either.

This was a sucky, sucky Super Bowl.

I'll say the Giants are paper champs.....It makes me feel better.

Beat 2 13-3 teams on the road and a 18-0 team in the Super Bowl. Paper champs my ***. I wanted the Pats to win but the Giants deserve all the credit in the world.

I said that to make me feel better. Take it for what it is.

They're champs....rightfully so.....

But if I'm going to be able to stomach this, I've gotta say something derrogatory to them.

I'd do the same for the freakin Pats.

Penalty differentials in the Giants postseason games:

Buccaneers/ Giants = 6/7
Packers/ Giants = 7/6
Patriots/ Giants = 4/5

Cowboys/Giants = 11/3

The refs in our game screwed us over with uneven penalty calling,,, at home no less. But no, I'm not bitter

with all that said, they did play a heck of a game tonight,,,

As soon as Dallas plays with half the heart the Giants have played with here of late, then Dallas will be onto something.

I hate the Giants, but man they definitely earned that trophy.

I guess what they say is true: Offense fills the stadiums but defense wins Championships.

I can't recall a Super Bowl where the better defense lost. Can anyone?

There's no way I could enjoy a SB featuring a group of cheaters against one of our NFC East rivals...the same rivals that knocked us out...the same rivals that talked smack after getting beaten up by us twice.....I'll admit they had the right AFTER beating us.

Some of you act like I should've enjoyed this.....guess I didn't get the memo.

Yeah....good game....just sucks that someone I hated was going to win regardless.

I love good defense too......

But someone "won" the game. For me...I couldn't rejoice or exalt in either team winning.

It's kind of like a presidential election between Warren Harding and Richard Nixon. It may be close and fun to watch.

But no matter what, the outcome's going to suck.

I'm not gonna play the ref blame game on that one. There were two key plays that lost us the game, IMO.

this was a great game....it had great defense on both sides...it had clutch offensive plays by both sides....it came down to the final minute....

The intensity was there. The hype was there. The drama was there.....It lived up to all 3.

This was definitely one of the best SBs in the past 10 years. I would say the only other SB in the last decade that I found as equally entertaining was the NE/Carolina contest.

Again....the game might have been close and well played.

But I couldn't enjoy it.

I guess I'm envious of those that did.

But there was no way I could enjoy a game between these two teams. Both full of cocky, arrogant jerks.

The only saving grace of a Giants win was knowing that Shockey was no where near the field.....but then, I'm sure there are some of you that are just tripping over yourselves to put the crown on him too.

I'm not happy.....there was no way for me to be tonight....But this thread is helping me get some things off of my chest.

Who cares of anyone being jerks? Two nice fella teams played last year. That was one of the worst SBs I saw.

I rather see a great game, with jerk teams than Bad SB with two "nice" teams. Talking about Sore losers, we got bunch of them on this board seems like.

It was one of the best games since probably Pathers and NE game. Titans and Rams was a great game too, but this probably was much better than that one, being that NE was shooting for History.

I don't care that Giants won as much as I care that NE lost. Like someone said, It was fun to watch a game, when you didn't care which team won and woudl have been happy if both teams losing.
