This team could use another good pass rusher

Yep,
The loss of Armstrong and Fowler to free agency followed by Sam Williams season ending injury highlighted this positional need last year.
And then DFlaws injury became a season ender and rookie Kneeland had his own injury to recover from during the season.

So it's all about whether the Cowboys are good with all of those 3 returning from some type of injury, although Kneeland was playing by year's end.
And re-signing DFlaw if they're going to.
The old Giants GM Ernie Accorsi once said "you can never have enough pass rushers."

Dallas just needs to draft a DT, a DE, an OL, WR2 and RB1 in the first round this year and they will be set.
I think they go
DT or DE
RB
DL / LB

In that order in the first three rounds.

Need to sign a WR, LB and OL in FA.

Need to get 5-6 new starters out of that group. It’s very doable.

On the oline we have the players already except for one swing guy IMO.

You want to go forward with only one dtackle. What are you counting on? Kneeland and Williams are on the roster and you want nothing left at dtackle.
I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

I'm the loudest advocate for DT on this site.

Nope.

1. CB
2. WR
3. DT

They get Kneeland and Williams back and are trying to sign Lawrence. They were without Williams all year and without the other 2 for most of the year.
he'll come back and have a ALL-PRO season and will get the bag, you know what comes next

Let's not bother with another pesky pass rusher, I'm thinking a TE in the 2nd is just what we need......or a DT with no love of the game.

Heck, even a 4 foot 5 RB in the 4th round.

......sorry, what did you say? Ahhh we skip the 4th round these days. Sorry, I missed that memo bit all up to speed now.

Sam Willams was supposed to be that guy, and they drafted Kneeland as a D Law clone.

If Williams can come back healthy, and Kneeland continues to develop, and we either bring back Gholston or Law— we aren’t in a terrible place.

We can add more pieces, but IMO, where we desperately need attention is at DT. And this draft is pretty deep at that position
Completely agree, we already have those guys if they can stay healthy.

There was one point early in the season where the Cowboys were missing all four guys, Parsons, Lawrence, Williams and Kneeland.

The Cowboys have to show up the middle of the defense. They need multiple DT's. There is not enough quality rotation guys. Osa participated in 78% of the defensive snaps last season.

Think about how much is put on Micah when he's the focal point of our defense to offensive coordinators. He's doubled, chipped, held etc. If we had another pass rusher to take some of the focus off of him, maybe we'd see a difference in Micah's numbers, and his ability to finish the season without being so worn down. I think this isn't necessarily a major move such as some of the other moves we need to make, but it's one to really think about. Please give your thoughts!

When I say good, I'm hoping for one that can help us against the run and the pass, not just be stout in stopping the run and that's it. (Micah is undersized and struggles with this, yes I understand!)
Last time i checked DFlaw was advertised as that.

Ok that last time was 10 years ago. But who knows, maybe he is n late prosperer. Like red wine.

Might have some cheese for that.
