8-8 to 12-4 is not a huge task. Here's to them finally making the right moves with plenty of cap space.

Dallas only has 94 mil in cap without any restructures and 26 spots to fill. The cap doesnt look so great now. Tagging dak and cooper takes like 45-48 mil or so of that.

You don’t think 46 mil to fill 20 spots is a lot?

most of those are bottom roster guys that will be filled by draft picks and other bottom roster, cheap players.

The salary cap isn’t an issue currently.

But, the front office definitely has to make the right choices on who to re-sign and what free agents to bring in or keep.

The opportunity is there. They have the flexibility to do whatever they really want. Will they make the right choices though?

They have been proven overrated. It's easy to say By team has talent because that is true even for the worst teams. The skins have talent but they still are not. Good team. Next year we are likely to have far less talent, and far more overpaid players.

2020's theme? Full Circle!

The only move that will make a difference and provide some hope is Jerrah steps down and gives up control of the team...
Otherwise same outcome next year

Well this team is overrated but I remember Parcells taking a Quincy Carter team to the playoffs his first year and this team is better than that one.

It totally depends on the contract and how its structured. The cap hit for Wentz next year is only 18 Million.

If the Cowboys just had average special teams, a good kicker and a competent HC they would have gone 12-4.

They would be 10-6 just on decent Special Teams alone. They had three losses where all the little breaks went against them, if they go 1-2 in those rather than 0-3 they would have the 4th most wins in the NFC.

I feel like the special teams isn’t talked about enough. I know there have been threads about it.

But with how god awful special teams has been. It’s not irrational to say it legit cost the team a couple of games over a 16 game season.

How many yards of field position did the cowboys lose over 16 games due to poor special teams? Has to be thousands.

Exactly. Linehan had been successful but the game has clearly moved past him. OQuin clearly had no business being in that job.
