The offense needs a complete rebuild and dak some way some how needs to gth off of this team and out of the state of Texas.
I would also trade lamb for high pick or two while he is still young and valuable. Lamb is just not worth wasting value on an offense this bad.
I don't care if we have to be the old crappy browns and bengals for the next 3-5 years. Tears this offense down, fix the coaching and figure this out.
Yeah, new management and a new QB can work wonders. We don't have either option.Washington fans thought they were in purgatory and look what has happened in a period of 1 year. They are going to be a playoff team already after picking #2 in the draft.
We have to draft a QB and add some FA's though. If they still refuse to do Free Agency, we're going to be hurting for a long time.
Yeah, I understand they have new ownership but we can only hope I guess.
As always.Yes Jerry will figure it out and fix the problems...........
Washington and Houston are something we can learn from. It shows other clubs that IF you get the correct HC hired, couple them with a talented QB preferably a drafted guy to grow with, that a quick turnaround can indeed be plausible in short order. I'm amazed at what the commodes have done. We never gave Dan Quinn his due.Washington fans thought they were in purgatory and look what has happened in a period of 1 year. The play here to trade Micah and CeeDee for multiple picks. Both were healthy today. So, you got to see how much they really matter on a team with more fundamental problems. The trenches need to be rebuilt.
It would be on par for Jerry. Ignore a problem for a few years until it's a major problem and then overreact.Yeah, looking at the tea leaves, we're getting an early RB. It's on brand for Jerry. The debacle with Derrick Henry.. the puttering offense.. Dak for 4 years. It all points to RB in the first round for ol Jerr.
Micah was invisible in the 2nd half. He quit after we got far behind. Ceedee was sulking . Gotta shed dead weight. The play here to trade Micah and CeeDee for multiple picks. Both were healthy today. We are about to pay Micah like he's Ray Lewis. He's no Ray Lewis or Bruce Smith. He's not an alpha dog. He is a finesse, me-first player and not worth half the money he's about to demand. Of course he's going to check out in a blowout. He's making a business decision once he decides that the game is no longer worth his effort.Micah was invisible in the 2nd half. Trade Micah too .
No team will give up 1st and 2nd round picks for any player. Not anymore. Teams are reluctant to part with third round picks if the player is already (or about to be) signed to near top of market compensation. Micah and CeeDee are worth more to the Cowboys than anything they could trade them for.The play here is to trade Micah and CeeDee for multiple picks. Both were healthy today. Your description of Micah is precisely why he won’t bring much in trade. We are about to pay Micah like he's Ray Lewis. He's no Ray Lewis or Bruce Smith. He's not an alpha dog. We can only hope lolI give it 3 years or more before we sniff another playoff appearance. Jerry might be in the netherworld by then
