I thought this team took a serious step back when they gave up Demarco Murray.

This new defense more than makes up for his loss and I never thought I'd say that. With the return of Sean Lee, the re-signing of McLain, the signing of Hardy, the fact that it seems clear we hit on guys like Crawford, and now these two draft choices? With Marinelli?

I think Romo is right, this team is going to be utterly devastating this year.

He was projected 4th/5th but with Clemmings and Collins out of the picture, he obviously moves up the boards.

We had a very good first two rounds of the draft, adding two defensive starters. Third round pick is cute and a luxury we really couldn't afford.

Maybe after stealing a top 5 player at 60, Jerry felt he was playing with house money.

The biggest problem with our team was the lack of defending the pass. We needed to improve the pass rush and defending the pass. McClain, Hardy, Jones and Gregory are big additions and added to improving DLaw and returning Lee sure make our defense a top defense now.

I saw one comment that scouts were saying before the draft that Chaz Green was someone who was going to move up earlier than projected.

They have him in the 5th. While you can wave your hands at that too, the Cowboys have been one of the better drafting teams these past 5 years. They get more of a benefit of the doubt then you.

They have him in the 5th. While you can wave your hands at that too, the Cowboys have been one of the better drafting teams these past 5 years. They get more of a benefit of the doubt then you.

They don't know how to draft linemen though. I mean in the world Pound the Rock lives in where Eli is better than Romo and Wade is better than JG it's gotta be 2011 or so.

Reminds me of Fredrick choice. By the way, saw a report that he could play center as well. He was a freshman all American in 2011. Hated the pick at first but I see the logic now especially when you only dress 7 OL on Sunday.
