In years past we have seen our fair share of soft efforts. Things such as false start number 76, holding Marc Columbo, or the defense having lack of energy out there at some points. What I seen last night is an offensive line that battles you. Tyron was flawless. Nagy and Costa worked their butts off and Free was okay. They had a few bad moments but what do you expect. I was more surprised, even though we really only gave up 17 points( minus the punt block and int) the toughness and competitiveness our defense showed. It was like an underdog boxer giving everything they have when we were down many players. The Jets have receivers that are match-up nightmares and we competed. Haven't seen that type of effort in a while.

You guys can laugh but I'm telling you we are going 12-4 or 11-5. We have a weak schedule and that's the best defense we will face all year on their home turf. I say we lose to Ne, once to Philly and an odd ball or two in there. Our schedule sets us up perfectly. When we play the Giants twice in the last 4 weeks of the season, they should be done. Tampa is in the same boat. We might be 4-3 after 7 games but after that we will roll. Opinions

SF= they had 8 plays from the 1 yard line yesterday and had to kick a fg. They stink.

Wash= We win. I know the whole rivalry thing but its our home opener.

Det= This game scares me. But we are at home.

NE= loss, at least it should be

St. Louis= win, they're not ready. Their receivers dropped so many passes yesterday.

Philly= loss

Sea= easy win

Buf= This would be the game in the early 90's that we would lose. We win, we're at home.

Wash= Scares me

Miami= win

Ari= win, if Cam can throw for 422 we should be ok

NYG= they should be 4-9 at this point

TB= Same as NYG

Phi= we get our revenge

NYG= win

All can change due to injuries
