This team is lacking grit

When did this team become a finesse team? Probably when Garrett took over.

Landry, Jimmy, and Parcels took nasty tough gritty players. Those are the players we needed yesterday.

Finesse won't cut it in that weather.

Remember Wade's Camp Cupcake? That was the beginning.

This team has lacked leadership since Parcells.

No this team lacks aggressiveness. They play scared on both sides of the ball. Not the played but the guys who call the plays. Fear of failure = failure.

There is an old saying, I wouldn't want to meet that guy in a dark alley. That saying is pretty much the definition of grit. Doesn't mean a guy has to be a criminal or come from a questionable back ground. Just means he's tough and has a mean streak.

Perfect example, and one of my favorite ex-players, Jason Hatcher. Hatcher done his job and held other guys accountable for doing their jobs. Heck, Hatcher even confronted Charles Haley and made Haley stop taking showers at team facilities.

Does grit equal balls or confidence? Cause they don’t have those either. They are most certainly the product of a coach who brings absolutely none of those things!! A soft coach and his soft football team.

Then they should add grits to the menu, shrimp and grits are really good;)

Based on what? What makes him tough? Because he has a no nut November beard?
What I have seen, how he takes huge hits, gets up and wants more. How he puts himself in harms way to make plays. As for why he is tough, you would have to ask him. His upbringing? His work ethic? A beard makes no one tough.

This is so far off I need a picture of a cliff. This team is a smash your mouth with a nasty OL run team. The only lack of grit is with the HC.

I watch the Raven and the 9ers play a lot. People here say that the players play hard for Garrett.

That's a lie. The way our team plays seems they are comfortable and just don't care.

I envy the teams like the Ravens and the 49ers. The announcers kept saying how the coaches build their teams based on the skills of their of their players.

Garrett's team doesn't do that. They try to fit square pegs into round holes.

Just take a look at Dak compared to Lamar Jackson and how they run their offenses. Totally different.

We wasted almost 10 years with Garrett and thats not including when he was the OC. Its time to kick him out and not look back.

Our team likes being bullied lol. Dak got punked in like 3 games this season (Miami, Packers, and Philly) and he does nothing. Our team is weak-minded.

Our team lays down like a good dog. That's on Garrett and his philosophy on the RKG. Heck he doesn't even challenge bad calls. Thats why the refs gets away with so much against us. We have a wimp for a coach.

qb wears a bowtie lol

What makes them a finesse team? This is a finesse league lol. Patriots look like a finesse team. You guys are trying to find different excuses and reasons for why they are losing. Has nothing to do with them being “finesse”.
I was trying to figure out a nice way to say it,, but couldn't,, you posted exactly the reason.
This is the "New Era" NFL guys, it all started with the hiring of the New Commish, and the soft rule changes that softened this game, and everyone cried BS, Goodell isn't ruining this league. The law suits for concussions and concussion protocol, the league has changed and well never be old school smash mouth football, ever again,, that's only on NFL replay.. forever.. sorry to be harsh but its the facts.
Im glad that I was from a generation that was fortunate enough to witness the way this game was played, but its all gone now.
The NFL is but a microcosm of the entire Country.
The NFL is now a league were you have to have the best staff in t he league that might be able to curtail the rules, and how to micro define what you are allowed to get away with.
Discipline is everything, and all your players, your entire team , has to buy into what the coaching staff is telling them, preaching to them, and when they don't, you have a good team if your lucky.
The best teams have a collective thought process, some are lead by coaching like NE and Bill, and some are lead by players like the Ravens and Lamar.
Leadership that demands soldiers to follow rather its from the HC or a very special player is what leads teams to greatness in this NEW ERA of the NFL.

was this when Haley was a coach for the Cowboys? Because their playing careers didn't even come close to overlapping.

So basically he gets hit across the middle and gets up? Sounds like most NFL players to me.

Yeah he use to hang around and help coach the players. He used to take a shower there then walk around naked in the locker room. So him and Hatcher got into it.
