These Cowboys seem to always find incredible ways to lose
The ways this team has lost games in the current and past few years is really incredible
sad but true.....

Well I didn't mean 'always' literally. But wow, we've had some interesting ones for sure.:yimyammer;2512665 said:You're right, always is too strong of a word, but some of the losses they've had have been jaw dropping wouldn't you say?
Romos fumbled snap @ Seattle
NYG in the playoffs
No show against the Rams (Dude!)
Pittsburgh melt down
Two back to back 70+ yard runs to seal tonights loss
they need to reverse this resume

As cowboys fans we are all spoiled with the rich tradition and the championships, but if your around my age, 32, you have seen way more losing in big moments than winning in big moments.
I didnt get to see roger, dorsett, white etc.. play the game.
I fell in love with this team as a kid watching nfl films highlights thinking Dallas was a loveable loser and underdog and really respecting Tom Landry.
So from about 84 on, I really have seen more bad times than good. If your a fan of the cleveland browns you find that laughable because of the success of the 90s.
But still, especially recently these have been some of the most gut wrenching and knockout punch losses a fan of any team could ever take. At some point it has to start coming back our way, I hope.
We have seen this team rewrite the record book of this franchise in a negative fashion and as it continues the losses get worse and worse.

Now we are seeing just the opposite. While I am grateful for the wins, I almost feel like we have accomplished nothing in the last two years.

they are sort of the fabric of the Dallas Cowboys even in good years as well ... (Lett on TG, Boniol off the center of the upright vs Lions in 94?, Novacek stopped at the half-inch line vs Browns, the game at RFK vs Skins where Aikman fumbled the game away and Emmitt didn't bat the ball out of bounds).
I totally agree.Disturbed;2513702 said:This team does not seem to have the championship caliber qualities demonstrated by all those great teams of the past. This team is an illustration of the times of today -- prima donna players who want the biggest paychecks for the least amount of effort and expect a trophy to be given to them.
The character of this team needs to return to the blue collar team oriented players like Bob Lilly, Randy White, etc...
Cut the older players, and the prima donna players, and go get real blue collar players for the team. Start with the offensive line.
