I dislike Jerry a lot, but must give him credit for selling his roster every season, even during the 5-11 years. He is masterful each season saying he has never felt better about the team and what he has assembled.

The team is good, but not a playoff winner. Too many holes, and no real identity.

At corner we were fine. DE too. But linebacker took a hit and safety play wasn’t as good as last year.
We have some good corners for sure. But Bland was awful yesterday. He got torched all day long. That penalty on the first packer drive was a killer.

Coaching matters. Last night the coaching was an epic FAIL.

If Matt LaFleur had been coaching the Cowboys they would have won.
LaFleur has been awful in his early career in the playoffs. Two #1 seeds squandered. It only took getting rid of Rogers to remedy that. Maybe Jerry should take some notes….

I don't believe we're as loaded as people think. There have been too many examples of us running into teams with equal talent, and them wiping the floor with us. I personally believe we need some dogs on the defensive line that have a take no prisoners physical mentality. Our Offensive line needs a new coach and philosophy. It gets tiring watching them getting no push. I mentioned these two, due to believing Football is a game won in the trenches
I agree about the defense. The entire defense is soft. Wilson used to be the enforcer but now he takes bad angles and misses too many tackles. Where are the Wilson and Bell that used to make tackles behind the LOS earlier in the year?

I also share the philosophy that games are won in the trenches. When the offense is struggling the defense is supposed to pick them up and make stops, not fold like cheap suits. The offense typically starts slow so the defense has to start fast. When both start slow, or the defense doesn't show up at all, the game gets out of hand and something like yesterday happens.

This is why I do not understand why the Cowboys drafted Mazi then told him to lose 40 lbs. He gets shoved around like a rag doll now. He also winds up on the ground way too much for a DT. That kid needs to grow up fast.

And consider this: The Cowboys most talented player - Micah Parsons - was bad yesterday.

Yes Dak was bad. Cedee was bad. The coaching was bad. But how does this defense escape blame? Giving up 48 points - 7 TDs in 8 possessions - is the worst defensive performance in Cowboys playoff history. Yes Dak was terrible yesterday. But the defense couldn’t stop anything yesterday. And our best defensive player looked mostly lost and uninspired.
The defense is a bigger culprit of yesterday than anyone else Imo and that’s not to say dak should go blameless. But the defense was embarrassing and Quinn got completely out coached

Someone needs to pull Micah Parsons aside and have a brutally honest conversation. He needs to be told to stop with the podcasts and verbal bravado and let his play on the field speak.

He’s an amazing talent but he needs to be held accountable for playing beneath his talent.
Hold players accountable? We don't do that here. It's always which coaches we can fire and hire to make these incredible, amazing players play better.

This organization constantly overrates its talent. "We like our guys!" Bargain basement FAs, etc. Jerry always puts hope above substance, while Stephen puts saving money above everything else.

Well the D sure is not, almost a 50 burger hung on it by a team that was struggling like h—- all year. Just made Love look like Joe Montana carving up this supposedly Doomsday D.

He's no Lawrence Taylor.

Dallas had 9 all pros. There was NO reason for them to lose that badly to a #7 seed.

That being said, I do take issue with the way this roster is constructed. Playing an army of safeties at LB, poor RB play, an aging and under performing offensive line, only 2 wideouts that can even make a play, I could go on.

I mean the whole team sucked yesterday. Everyone. I can’t argue for anyone but Ferg and shockingly Gallup. I

loaded in a sense but with players who dont fit the scheme. not enough size on defense. not good enough at QB on offense. OSA and Bell were constantly getting abused on run plays. Micah is a 3-4 OLB.
