Yeah, losing a star player midweek and things not going well at the start of the game was enough for the soft underbelly to show.

Jerry Jones' Cowboys to their very core. A soft, undisciplined, losing culture is Jones's real legacy

.lol..I guess you lost some.money.
If you’re referring to me, no. I stopped betting the games when free agency destroyed the game. Just can’t bring myself to wager on uniforms and not players / teams.

We all as fans have to admit, the Cowboys have had a lack of mental toughness for multiple coaching tenures.

Makes you wonder- what is the common denominator for the last several decades despite having multiple coaches and lots of talent, yet not being able to beat the “soft” tag. Hmmm…who’s been in charge all these years? ;)

Let's face it, it's going to be 29 years since Dallas played in an NFC Championship game. Today, Dallas showed the entire NFL that they are not mentally tough. They were more talented than ARZ yet they chose to be lazy and let ARZ punk them on national television.
You can be mentally tough all day long, we lost four pro bowl players this week So depleted that we had to dress the most recently injured player to make the roster limit.

Players are pissed off. That's sort of worth a loss in a long season

Anyone watching them the past 5 years knows they are front runners. They'll be the best team in the league with a lead, and fold the second someone stands tall and hits them in the mouth.
It sure looks that way. If they're not playing from a lead, then they are in trouble.

all bling and no substance. 25/27 years running. Two of those years I feel the Tuna had us fairly disciplined.

ARZ came out and played physical bully ball and DAL cowered.

DAL can't beat the iggles or SF if they play like that. They better get this fixed.

Players have always been allowed to go around the head coach to complain to Jerry. Jerry wants to be their best friend. No one fears the coach. Been that way since Parcells left.

Same result, different year and the same regurgitated responses from the players/ coaches. Nothing will ever change. Even in our 13-3 years this team always flames out and finds every way conceivable to lose.
They take on the Jerry’s characteristics Arrogant overconfident con men

I think the problem is HOW we are losing to these 'bad teams'.

We're not barely losing a last minute, close one. We're literally getting beat up and dominated the whole game.

Same with the Denver game. We're not losing a competitive game. We're playing sloppy ball from the get-go and getting dominated the whole game. This is also exactly how we looked in our 2 49er playoff games, so this doesn't give me confidence we have the formula to beat them.

yes. Mini snake oil salesmen essentially. U know, they say married couples take on each others traits after being married a long time, same thing with Jerry and the players. True, u made a great valid point.

When the owner runs a circus it's hard to be mentally tough
well lets face the truth, Jerry got what he wanted all along. A team that emulates him in every way. They might as well change the star logo to Jerrys face. Just own it and go all in. embrace the futility and dysfunction.

Historically, DAL has been known to play down to their opponents This game was another example.

The pissed off players better be on defense because this team goes through them.
