Without a run game and ability to stop the run, it will require us to play mistake free football against a good team. Then the usually suspects will blame Dak, because they don't understand the game.

I've been a pretty big critic of Dak but he is low on the totem pole for problems with this team.

I've never seen a team so committed to getting into its own way. These games should not be this close, we should not be making critical mistakes, especially near the end of the game. The problem is, its not just one person, its someone virtually new every week.

Dolphins game -Lup / Dak fumbles
Detroit game -CD fumbles, Micah jumps offsides right at the end
Other games - Sam Williams runs into the punter giving a free set of downs, Fowler jumps offsides in a critical situation, etc etc.

But wait! there's more!

MM game / clock management is horrid, DQ chokes at the end for almost 2 weeks in a row. The only one not screwing up is Aubrey.

Can we just string together a few solid performances in all 3 phases of the game for a change? Gotta clean it up or we are a first round exit.

Don't forget the special teams blunders. Teams are seeing us stick a wr as an outside guy on punt returns and they are faking it and just throwing it for a easy completion. Yet we still do it. I mean we don't really return the punt anyways. Put a CB or one of the million safeties we use there.

We beat the Seahawks, Rams, Eagles and Lions. We beat the Bucs last year with Tom Brady, not Baker Mayfield. Yeah, I know any given Sunday and all that.

It's just a weak conference folks. We for sure have a great chance of going to whichever round SF meets us. That's when you can start worrying.
