Those are our two biggest problems and have been for the last 5 years. It's a major reason for the late season collapses.

You said it your self. Favre, he's been around long enough to bring back a young team. This was Romos first full season. He's young.

Dallas just need to get more football smart players with mental toughness... Eliminate bringing in guys like Reeves, Williams etc.

EXACTLY my friend... I'm glad you came out and said it! Dumb penalties by the offensive line hurt them at different times all season... Defense needs an overhaul seriously... Newman, Ware and Ellis are the only vets I feel need to stay. I didn't hear Bradie James named called yesterday at all...

And they played the hawks. We unfortunately played the hottest team going into the play offs in the NFC. I believe that was their ninth straight win.

I disagree with what you're implying. The '92 Cowboys were the youngest team in the league and the won the SB. Being young isn't what the problem is IMO.

In all the knee-jerk reaction, poster forget ...

how long it took Favre to win a Super Bowl.
how long it took Peyton to win a Super Bowl.
how long it took Elway to win a Super Bowl.
how long it took Young to win a Super Bowl.

They also forget ...

1976 Cowboys had the first seed and lost ... but won the Super Bowl the following year.

1997 Broncos had the first seed and lost ... but won the Super Bowl the following year.

2006 Colts had the first seed and lost .... but won the Super Bowl the following year.

The 2007 Chargers had the first seed and lost ... but now they're playing for the AFC Championship.

Teams have to mature.

Unfortunately, in this Micro-wave culture, we expect instant success. But it doesn't work that way all the time. And even with the Patriots and Brady, the Patriots had a veteran team that had played in a Super Bowl (1997-98) so when they won in (2001-02) the core members were already in place. They just needed a quarterback to take them over the top.

Relax. We'll be fine.
