My two trade candidates would be Nick Foles or Teddy Bridgewater. Run the stupid Jason Garrett offence, run the ball and play defense. Two tight end sets and ball control offence will get you enough points to win games with a stingy defense. They do this and they could still possibly make a wild card spot. If not start the draft show early and tank.

What would everyone prefer Tank or Try to salvage some sort of a season?

They won't have to try and tank, year is officially over with or without Dak. That was some of the ugliest football we have seen around here for years. Jerry and his moronic son has destroyed this team in one off season.

What we prefer doesn't matter.

Neither of those two QBs are the answer to anything, Kellen Moore isn't going to run that type of offense, and if the Jones boys had a clue they wouldn't have gone into the season thinking what they had was good enough in the first place.

They won't tank. I don't know why people even say that because they've never tried to tank. But this offense is such a mess they'll likely end up tanking by accident.

All I'm saying is. If the Bears can make a Superbowl with freakin' Rex Grossman anything is possible. The run defense was a little better and they held them to 5 field goal attempts instead of TD's; that's a marketable improvement.

They'll win some games, but this isn't a playoff team much less a Super Bowl contender. I had my doubts about both before tonight. Now they're no longer doubts, in my mind.

Defense WOULD have been good enough to win THIS game if Jerry and Stephen did not drop ball on signing Von Miller.

Even Randy Gregory would have been upgrade to Armstrong/Fowler/Basham.

Parsons cannot be the sole pass rush threat.

Agreed. It's a rebuild season in some aspects.

I think the defense was exposed last night. People are going to say we only gave up 19 points but they were lucky it was only 19 points. They gave up 154 yards rushing, and most of that came when the game was close. The Tampa offensive line is missing 3 starters from last year, just like Dallas. The defense still gives up too many big plays. I know it was Tom Brady, 45 year old Tom Brady, but Tampa receivers were wide open all night.

The Cowboys roster on both sides of the ball is thin. If not for Micah Parsons this defense would be pretty awful.

TB had 152 rushing yards, and you think this D is good? What makes you come to that conclusion?

A little better? According to whom? Seriously, where do you get this stuff from? They ran all over us.

Takes brains to tank. Jimmy did a bangup job of it, led to 3 super bowls.

And, as the NBC graphics showed, the BULK of that came on runs to their left - Armstrong was CONSTANTLY giving up the edge. Runs up the get were defended well.

This. Not enough people are acknowledging this. I’d love to hear those on this forum who defended the FO bungling of the potential Von Miller signing address this. You cannot win without a strong D-line.

The time to get a capable backup has come and gone. Trading away anything at this point for a scrub journeyman will just compound the disaster. Jerry made the bed and has to sleep in it.
