This team needs that signature road win to believe!

The first four road games will show what kind of team Dallas will be this year.

Baltimore in Brazil, home game on the road.
Following week at Houston.
At GB week 6, at Philadelphia week 7.

By week 8 we'll know if this will be a different team or not.

Tell you what with the turnover on D with personnel & coaches going into New Jersey opening night and winning on the road is huge for the confidence of the locker room .

Gone are the Dabolls and McAdoos and Judge Joey and a real live NFL HC is on the sideline now . Jaxson Dart is dangerous .

To me Williams & Davis and the OL are key to victory . Run the ball down the throats opens up the trio of talent at WR and controls clock .

Yes, that was at Green Bay. Rodgers got the equalizer where it mattered though.

A win over the Ravens at home would be nice. At Green Bay, meh. But going into Philly for a prime time game and serving notice that we intend to take the East would be a good win to finish the job they didn't the year before (looking at you, CeeDee) and maybe jumpstart real belief on the team and for fans.
Green Bay would absolutely be a signature win maybe you don't understand a history they're constantly ruining our seasons and last year that time meant something but that was at home right so at Green Bay that is a huge win I still angered by the blown lead a couple years back that they had both in Jacksonville and Green Bay those are signature wins that should have had nothing to do with Prescott or this offense really again they choked it up.

When you look at how fast they came out in both those games they were playing well on the road they've had some very good starts on the road and then they've had some problems finishing those games...

Absolutely you go into Green Bay and you ruin Parsons come back this year really two games in a row parsons doesn't help them win that is big that is really big for fans and the team to go on the road and beat a team that thought they got one over on you by stealing Parsons..

Fan base claims that all the players we got from them were washed up and they were leaving anyway and that we overpaid and they win that trade 0 my that would be a huge win my man That is an NFC rival that is one of the biggest rivals we have and you're worried about the Ravens you mean the Ravens that rebuilt their whole coaching staff no that's an AFC team those are not a big road win I don't think so..

Take any win so it's not a big deal to me but when you say meh no not meh big really big that's the one I'm marking down on the calendar because I believe Parsons is targeting that area of the season they come back...

No team in the NFL would be expected to win all those games but to get a big win against Green Bay would be big That be bigger than anything else on the schedule houston that would be nice they have an awesome defense it would be nice to get over the hump and stop hearing how the Cowboys can't move the ball as good against better defenses so it can resolve a lot of things but if you're expecting a lot of wins in that stretch that would be bad expectations way too high expectations you need to come away with at least one big win out of those but two would be great So split those four games you're talking about that would be different..

Garrett would say this, "First we need to go out and beat the New York "Football" Giants!! It always annoyed me that he would say "football" giants. It's like Dude, you're in the NFL. What other giants could you possible be talking about? smdh
Yep hysterical. Fake Garrett did that.

‘….I also like to shoe horn in the word “football.” Even though it’s understood…’

The guy was so disingenuous it was ridiculous. How that can be the voice of your team for a decade because the owner wanted to create his perfect puppet? That’s not a forgivable offense, and I never will.

I know it sounds like he was disingenuous but he wasn't lots of people used to refer to the Giants like that it's the way sometimes the Dallas Cowboys are referred to as America's team but you do realize he's from New Jersey he went to Princeton I believe II know he's from that area so he's just used to referring to them that's why when he left didn't go there for a short stretch I mean he's from the area it's like instilled in him to talk about that team first...

And he's right you can't go past the first game to get to the 2nd or 3rd game you have to beat the teen that's on your schedule it happens to be the New York Football Giants.. Not the New York non football Jets..lol

Even a 2-2 record in those games would be impressive. Imagine a 3-1!!!

I definitely don’t want to be debating Garrett in any regard right now. I live literally ten miles from the Princeton campus, and the way he is has nothing to do with that at all. No big deal. In the past. The guy just rubs me the wrong way and I don’t even know him.

On the rest, no Cowboys fan should be looking past the Giants. They hired a huge name coach, have had decent personnel that they couldn’t harness, so I’d expect much more of a fight from them than we are used to. That crowd is gonna be intense. We need to match it.

What they do in the season has nothing to do with what we will see in January. They could go undefeated and it still wouldn’t be enough.

wild card win over tampa and the win over the steelers early in the '24 season are probably the best recently.
i'd love to see this team just head-lock their road games.
and stop the run.
season can't get here fast enough.
go☆cowboys.

Packers
Eagles
Seahawks
Rams

Winning the first two and splitting the last two would be a statement and probably indicate a successful regular season.

..it wont matter, Dallas could plow them 34-0

Next day, they'll say. NYG had new coach, defense was missing two players, NY field was sloppy wet ..etc.

Signature wins, come in post season. :)..
When he says a signature road win, I don't think he's talking about the Giants. We could win like you say, and it wouldn't matter. Even 40-0.

If you can't beat a good team on the road in regular season. Then you're probably not doing it in the playoffs.

I'm just gonna try to take this season as it comes. Not get too high or low. That said, going into Week 1, I definitely have expectations that the offense should be running high octane on all cylinders, short of an occasional sputter — and that the defense should be much improved from last season. I even expect the special teams unit to be at least a little better as Sorensen should be well aware that he's lucky he's still got the job and that we have better players, in general.

I think Green Bay finishes last in their division this year. Yes, even behind Minnesota with Kyler Murray.
