That offensive scheme has not changed since the day Garrett took over. The thing with Romo was that he changed things around before the ball was snapped. That was Romo's saving glory. Otherwise, if he had to run that same scheme over and over again, he's had the same results as what you see with Dak.

I bet Witten and Romo never had it in them to run the plays being called. They just knew what each other was going to do and Romo knew where to pass it to Witten.

I'm an old timer. I've seen Staubach through Prescott as QB's. Witnessed the Doomsday defense and Kenny Gant's shark dance on special teams. Between 96-2015 I can proudly say that I saw every snap of every game. I am a Cowboys fan through and through. I say that only to preface what I'm about to say so you know that I am not a hater. I wish and hope that we lose every single game until Jerry Jones steps down as GM. I say that because Jerry is not going to change and will not stop this madness. So the only way this will stop is if he dies. I do not wish death on anyone for something as meaningless as a football game. But when Jerry dies there is a chance that Stephen will not hire a GM and suck as bad as daddy. So the only realistic option I see to bringing in a real GM and a real coach is if we lose every single game until Jerry hires one. In 5 years or 3 years I would rather go 0-16 for three straight years if it means Jerry is broken as bad as we are as fans and hires a GM. If we keep going 8-8 then this will continue.

It's the only way that Dallas will ever be respectable again. We need to lose every single game until Jerry's ego, will, and delusional view of himself is shattered.

Agreed! I've been a fan for over 45 years and I'm at the point of losing it all, just to improve.
