This Team Really Test it's Fans' Commitments

Fans have to stop going to the games and buying merchandise before this idiot will change. He has the richest franchise in sports and we made that for him. We are the idiots really.

I don't even get mad when we lose anymore, I rarely get happy when we win... I'm just beaten.
I was in that boat right up until Dak threw a TD to Cooper last night. That gave me hope that maybe Cooper really is the missing piece to the offense......Then everything went right back to normal.......................................Yes, normal.

I didn't buy anything Cowboys this year, so I plan on sustaining it.

A few simple decisions would go a long way. Get a new OC with a newer scheme. Now. May go to playoffs as soon as next year. JG could stand there and clap if JJ wants to keep him.

I really feel for the younger fans who weren't around to witness those Staubach and Aikman years....they won us 5 Super Bowls!!! I fear these youngins will never witness the Cowboys win another championship. At least, for us older folks, we can hang on to those glorious memories of yesteryear!! :(

This isn't true and NEEDS to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really needs to stop with the whole mediocrity thing. SICK OF IT!!!!! A bunch of you on here always use that word and I swear you have ZERO IDEA what mediocrity means!!!!!

WE ARE FAR WORSE THAN MEDIOCRE. We are way below that point.

This guy lol.

Based on the title of your post, I can only make this statement towards those who become "uncommitted." You were never a real fan. I've been a Cowboys fan since 76 hence my membership name DCowboysfan76 although I was born in 72. I use 76 because that's the time I can remember going to my first Cowboys game at the age of 4 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Those of us who are "real Cowboys" fans have been through this type of thing before where there's a huge gap of years between Superbowls. It's just unfortunate that this current gap doubles the previous one from 1980 to 1992.

I saw some shiny new Cooper jerseys in the crowd last night. Suckers. :muttley:

We as fans play a big part on what is going on with this franchise. We keep buying Cowboys merchandise like crazy. Jerry builds a brand new stadium and we all rush out to see it. As long as we keep doing what we are doing. Why would Jerry change again when people keep buying
We are more like the mid 80s. We have the talent but the game has passed up our coaches.

Only difference is they had Danny White at QB. He could actually win games and get them a playoff victories.

Definitely, White would have us 8-0.

Think about this:

Not advanced past the divisional round in 23 years
2 playoff wins in 22 seasons
6 playoff seasons in the last 18 years.

That is abysmal.

but....but.....Jerry made $5 billion.

Exactly. Boycott, turn the tv off, don't buy merchandise, and it DOESN'T MATTER. He's going to cash the tv checks, he's made his money 5 billion times over, and gosh darn it he's going to do it his way no matter how bad the end result is, just so he can tell you he's doing it his way because he can.

I feel like I've never been more disheartened but then again I've had this feeling for 20+ years with this lunatic.

I'm finding I'm more and more focused on just having fun with my kids putting our jerseys on and having some fun food... my 2 and 4 year old d ont make it past half time....and daddy probably won't be either if this keeps up

It's a process, if we stack good days on top of good days I know we'll get there hopefully by 2030. We did some good things in all three phases last night but we came up short, turnovers hurt us. I don't think this is the time to change anything we just need to execute better...
Finish the fight. :muttley:
