This time of year is torture for a football fan

Or eharmony.com but don't mention being a Commanders fan :p:

thanks, I recognized a grammar mistake I made ;)

and esp. don't tell a potential mate that you spend most of your time on the message board of a rival team's :laugh1:

I suppose its important for the other person to allow you to have your interests, and they have theirs.

I've found that some women want to be the center of attention 24/7 though, and get whiny and complain when they aren't.

I'd never give up the Commanders for any woman though, no matter how good-looking.

And, ladies, he's still available!

June is better than May. Training camp is only 1 month away, this is the time of year that you take a vacation with your family, wake up in the morning with a newspaper and read about the latest rumors and news from mini-camps, start to put your fantasy football rankings together (for the fantasy-niks), etc.

What's great about this is we have the entire football season and training camp ahead of us, so much to look forward to. I frankly find January rather depressing because it's cold and you know in a few weeks, all the fun ends. :)

It would be really nice if our national soccer team or the local baseball team could keep us entertained in June but neither on both counts for me this year!

yeah all we have to watch is freakin' baseball! honestly so boring

Up North here, Summer is for outdoors fun...Softball, Golf, Riding, BBQ's. I actually wished the football season started later and ended later (Mid October - Mid January, then start playoffs).

Some real nice Sundays in September-October I have a problem with the Harley vs. Cowboys.

Like those 4:15 kickoff times so I can get my ride in and watch the game.

As for the game time itself. My friends and family knows not to call, I won't pick up. My GF is not a huge football, but loves Cowboys games and is always right in the living room with me in front of a roaring fire....napping. She hates it when the season is over, because then she has no excuse for a Sunday afternoon nap.

I get by relatively easy. All the preseason publications are coming out, plus i just play NCAA 06 DYNASTY MODE. Were already in mid june so i can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

That is all.

Your thoughts?

I'm a huge Mets fan. Watch every game extra innings has on. I'm gonna enjoy this spring/summer as much as any in years!!!
