Romo's had a bunch of big games. But he hasn't really been tested yet. Today he was tested, and he passed with flying colors.

He had a rough day. 2 picks, 1 fumble, he was harassed constantly. Yet he still stepped up and delivered especially at the end. One of the defining moments of today's game today for me was when Romo scrambled a bit, then threw the ball for a first down to TO right before getting SLAMMED.

And then obviously the pass at the end. Nothing but clutch.

This was the game we needed to see from Romo. What does he do under pressure? He excels.

Oh, and Martin, Martin, Martin!

Oh, and sometimes just gotta have a little help from the guy upstairs. That pass that went right through the CB's hands into Crayton's left me speechless. I saw the throw, expected it to go the other way, and then Crayton all of a sudden had it in his hands.

Andthis isexactly what we needed to see from Romo. A game in which he didn't show up like some gridiron God with gaudy numbers and an easy win. He earned this thing and it's good to know he's still got enough when things aren't going so well to pull it out in the end. That pass to Whitten, to avoid the rush and fire a strike with the game on the line is exactly the "it" that many around the league are talking about. Good to see it doesn't disappear when it's needed most.

Even with a bad first half, he still put us in position to win.

Now the key will be how he reacts next week.

What is it Parcells has been saying all along? That Romo needs to have a bad game so that we can see what he's about? Well, if this is his bad game, I think we're set. He struggled a bit today, the team struggled a bit today--BUTBUTBUT--we were playing a desperate team with its back against the wall. AND WE WON!!! Romo (& the team) apparently have figured out how to keep from collapsing.

Face it--if it had been Bledsoe & Vanderjagt. Well, I doubt we'd be this happy right now. We're wiping our brows, cranking out the Maalox--but we WON BABY!!!!!!

manning had a great game though don't see why people say he is a bad QB after this game

The same reason people couldn't call Romo a good QB after one win again Carolina. Consistency is key. Eli has done nothing but consistently suck, despite a good showing today.

it doesn't really matter but did anyone else notice that TO looked to be open for the touchdown when he passed it to witten?

Thought the same thing. He was wide open behind the defense. Not sure whether or not Romo would've been able to make that throw from the left side of the field like that. But maybe TO would've dropped it anyway. ;)

He probably would've dropped it, I saw that too.

Coming from the Jesus Phreak.. :)

Let's not forget that the Giants got lucky to even be in it, we dropped 2 point blank interceptions.

He might have seen him. Lets say your Romo. Do you throw to T.O or do you go to Witten? Me I'm throwing to Witten. I just do not have enough faith in T.O (I put to much butter on my popcorn fingers T.O) to make that to him at this moment for that big of a play to win the game.

Romo is money with the game on the line. His 42 yard pass to Witten, while rolling left, was a thing of beauty.

I thought the very same thing. It was a heck of a play, and I was holding my head thinking it was a pic.

"The key" is always next week, until the Super Bowl.
