Last year, we went 12-5, and had the #1 offense. Yes, we got beat in the first round of the playoffs, but our offense was a great offense. They should have spend the off season adding to the defense, just has they did, but they should have left the offense in tact. If anyone was traded/released, it should have been Gallup. When you really feel like you're close to a championship, you go all in!

Maybe they don't feel like we're as close as many of our fans do...

Dallas has Jerry. The only thing guaranteed to go all in is the cash flow.
Personally, I'd keep Gallup over CD.

Speaking of “ going all in “ I realize a return man is important but why hasn’t Turpin who had a pretty good college career catching passes not been utilized in the passing game at all. Isn’t this about using your roster to it’s max potential ? What are we holding back for ?

Turpin is 5'9" and weighs 152 pounds. If not for the USFL he'd still be playing football in Poland, which is what he was doing before it.

He's fast, but doesn't have an NFL body.

He can’t go on a pass route drag a safety down field with him clear some space anything . It’s seeing balls sail over his head on kickoffs and the occasional 8 yard punt return . If he’s that “ fragile “ how does he survive ST ?

Cuz he's the size of Pookie and he gon' die if he does more than get tackled by TEs and WRs on special teams.

Anyone who doesn't get this reference, we can't be friends.

I think his first pass caught in his short NFL career with Dallas Tavon Austin caught a pass from our elite QB and took it to the casa. Had Jerry chest bumping Chris Christie , knocked the wind out of Jones .

Another player I’m advocating for more snaps is Sam Williams . All I see when he’s in the game is speed and violence . Something in short supply lately .

Where is there a dominant head and shoulders team in the NFL this year better then everyone ? Nowhere. This is a year to roll the dice max out the players you have .

This is not a popular opinion, but here are the problems in Dallas keeping us from building a better roster:
  • Our FO has a good scouting system for drafting led by Will McClay. We are drafting much better than a decade ago which has infused some young talent from the draft.
  • BUT…Stephen Jones sees the salary cap as a wall and GMs like Les Snead of the rams, Jason Licht of the Bucs or Brett Veach of the chiefs- they all see the cap as a speed bump. They make aggressive moves. Stephen tells why we can’t.
  • SJ has turned Jerry from being a wildcatter oil man taking football chances to a billionaire tycoon who’s more interested in playing with his toy and counting his money than doing whatever it takes to win.

TODAY is not the time to try and win.

Tomorrow is.

Tomorrow. The perfect time for any resolution.

Tomorrow.

Today is for resting.

If he's what you seem to think he is, why was he playing football in Poland as recently as 2021?
