I'm not sure how this tiebreaker works out between the Cowboys and Eagles so maybe that would save us but if not, a loss this week carries a very real possibility of having to travel to Philadelphia in the finale with the division on the line. They've got a cream puff matchup with the Giants this week before a rematch with Washington.

The Cowboys get the Cardinals at home next week. They're reeling right now and scheduled for a Wentzing this Saturday. They will be a very desperate team when they arrive in Dallas. I'd still pick the Cowboys to win that game but it's dangerous.

Things will get very interesting if the Cowboys lose this game. They can not let that happen.

The number of games that have to go the Eagles way over the next 2 weeks to even have the chance for that game to be for the division is so high that it’s a near statistical impossibility. Its not just a matter of us losing out and them winning out, neither of which is likely to happen in its own right.

The pressure is on the Eagles right now more so than the Cowboys, although, the Cowboys can't afford to let up in their remaining games. We are favored by 10 points or so over the WFT. If we play up to par at our home field, we should beat them convincingly. No guarantees, however. It's also anyone's guess if Arizona will be able to rebound from their present slump, but they should be desperate enough to play their best. Maybe there's a chance we'll need to win in our last game in Philly, although it's doubtful. Hopefully, it won't come to that but if it does . . . Go Cowboys! ;)

We need to win out for seeding purposes. It’s very unlikely that the last game against Philly is meaningless. It could even be for the 1 seed if GB slips up.

GB has the Browns and Lions in their last two games. I don't expect them to lose either but anything can happen. We'll see. ;)

The Cowboys will most likely win the division before the game Sunday night. The Eagles need some crazy results to stay in it even if we lose out and they win out.

SOS:
Philadelphia: Washington (6-8), Detroit (2-11-1), NYJ (3-11), Denver (7-7).
Dallas: NYG (4-10), NE (9-5), LAC (8-6), and Minnesota (7-7).

If those 4 Eagles opponents all win out minus Washington Eagles opponents would be 29-38-1.
If those 4 Cowboys opponents lose out, those Cowboys opponents would be 28-40.

They pretty much need all the teams we've beaten that they haven't played to lose out and DET and NYJ to win out. It's over

If we can’t beat Washington at home with them on a very short week then we’ve got problems. I know it’s a division rival, but we should win by at least 10.
G. Gilbert may be starting his 2nd game for wash, and he will want to beat the cowboys . Be funny if he did.

I also feel this is a must win. I don't think the Cowboys will let this slip away. I'm not a big MM fan but he's winning me over, but I feel better with a HC that's done it before. If Garrett was still the HC then I'd be worried. With MM the head coach then he knows how to keep guys going in late season games. JG wasn't the beat at that.

So yes I think this is a must win and I feel we'll win it and get motivated for the 2nd seed.

No doubt we have to take care of business at home. From here on out this team needs to play at a high level in preparation for the playoffs.

Just win em all and everything else will take care of it's self.

But, yes, I agree that this week is a real must win game just to avoid any kind of uncertainty going forward.

If they win out and we lose out and its tie i believe we still win..i think the division locked up over division records, conference records, a split with the eagles etc etc

theres no drama to be manufactured here its over..we are the east champs.
