Good teams blow away those tomato can teams and prepare and play like it is a Super Bowl...that is why you see the Colts and Pats bashing those teams they are supposed to beat.
Teams that have not learned that lesson have stuff happen to them that is a total suprise to the oddsmakers...think the Eagles-Oakland game or the GB-Bucs game last week
..we need to approach Sunday like the Pack will come out like a cornered lion that will defend to the death, there season is on the line....if we play like we did against the Rams last year and just figure it is a 'gimme' game, we are not 'there' yet and will be a second teir team again this year although I do not see signs of that this year. That is the true meaning of this game against the Pack!

What are you talking about? Colts barely got by the 9ers and Jacksoville at home. I would love to see the Cowboys blow out the Packers but more times than not most games even good teams vs bad come down to a handful of plays.

Well...you're kidding yourself if you think GB is "tomato can team" especially playing at home. Rogers gets sacked a ton but they still manage to hang 30 points/game.

After losing to TB last week, we'll surely get their best shot this week at home. I still think we win by 13-15 points. But that has more to do with the roll we're on.

Are there any gimmie games in the NFL these days?
There are teams you are supposed to beat but I doubt those teams
see it that way. Excluding Detroit.;)

Teams play the Cowboys like it is their Superbowl. I don't see any gimmies.

Exactly.

This thread is a week or two early. :)

He probably only watches the Cowboys play so he rates them like the BCS does College teams.

This. Colts have had several "Squeakers" against teams they were supposed to beat...as did the Patriots earlier in the season.

Same with the Saints who had all they could handle with Carolina last week.

I agree. The early line on this game is Dallas by 3. I think that is about right.
I will say if I was a gambling man when it came to the Cowboys I would take them to cover the spread in this game but not expecting a blowout. Just hoping for one. :D

I'm thoroughly impressed that Green Bay has played so competitively even with Aaron Rodgers getting his clock cleaned week after week.

We will get their best shot. The key is to break their will early else it could be a long day. Statistically Greenbay is still a good team. Something to think about, if we played them a few weeks ago, Greenbay would have been the favorite in this game. If we play good turnover free football we should grind out a win.

Turnovers almost always determine the outcome of a game. We play like we have been and we'll win this game. It won't be a gimme game that's for sure.

If our blitz is as good as I think it is, we should get some turnovers in this game/

This is not a gimme by any stretch of the imganation. Not even close.

Every game is difficult.

The packers take the ball away and they score points. They can run the ball and they have terrific wide recievers. Greg Jennings has been excellent against us.

This is a very tough game.

Hopefully Dallas will be able to generate a good pass rush without blitzing alot.

I keep waiting for someone to step up besides Ware and Rat. Could this be the possible week that...? I don't want to say it for fear of jinxing him, lol.

The more the merrier. Since I don't believe is jinxes I'll say it Spencer and I would not be surprised if he gets on the sack list frankly I'm surprised he has not did so as of yet.
