This week will really test our Corners

A ton of talk is being made about Roddy White and Micheal J....with a bye week, this week will really show what our Secondary is made off, i assume we will man up, Zone could be a disaster especially with there TE Gonzales

So Jenkins and Newman will be able to show what there made of..if they play well..we should walk away with a Victory....we cant cover Gonzales with a LB, so hopefully Ball or Scandrick, mans up on him

TB , Giants have already shown what Dallas's DB squad is made of..

And it's not very good. Much improvement needed and hopefully it starts this week and they have a great game.


Dallas still needs the pressure from the D-line as well. Pressure can make many Db's look good.

I definitely think Matt Ryan is going to make it rain on the secondary. With that said, I think Romo does the same.

Actually, I think you will see a focused Newman and Jenkins in the secondary.

We read the headlines that the Ginats did not have any WR's and we believed them. The corners were not up for the game IMO. Same with Tampa Bay. When our CB's know they have a challenge (ala Steve Smith, Newman on Santana Moss last year) they are up for the challenge and play well. I think you will see that this week. They will be well prepared/focused and play well.

Gonzales, that is a whole different story. He will be a thorn in our side all afternoon IMO.

I have a feeling that the young NEW QB is going to school this Dallas defense. I just hope we can sustain and execute our firepower enough to win.

From what i saw Sun. nite, was Atl using their RBs in the passing game, rather effectively

Has nothing to do with the corners. Wade will have them play off and Ryan will take the uncontested throws. I see Ryan rolling 30 on this defensive scheme easily.

Pressure busts pipes! As long as our defensive front is touching Ryan our DBs will be effective. No DB can cover receivers for 8-9 seconds/play! Hopefully D-Ware, Rat, & Spence will keep the youngin on his back. Hell, he hasn't exactly lit up the NFL (besides the Whiners) so I think we can contain their passing game w/ decent play...

I agree our corners arent bad but ken hamlin esp is a liability. He had one good year and we pay him that? The fact that we picked off sensabaugh off the street and he is better then hamlin shows that safeties shouldn't be prioritized outside of the Ed Reeds.
