This whole board should be empty after a loss. No knee jerk reactions, no sky is falling threads, no I hate blah blah, or the Cowboys suck type deals. Commander fans get too much enjoyment out of those kinds of threads, and I don't want to increase their enjoyment anymore.

Furthermore, I hope that Dallas fans would think before they start speaking the first thing that comes to mind.

It's a lot to ask I know, but is there any chance it could happen!????

Nope - there are a lot who actually rejoice in losing. They disapear when we are winning yet show up and squeal when we lose....

It's quite sad but commonplace on other boards or, at least, Bills boards!

and how long should this boycott of the board last after a loss.....24 hrs, 48 hrs?

They must have been around here a lot the past 6 years. I'll look for the ones with the high post numbers..... :)

How about after a win? No knee jerk reactions, no we're headed to the Super Bowl/no way Washington can beat us threads. No Bledsoe is great blah blah threads. Hell, let's just shut the forum down.

Well, keep in mind, this is your assessment of the board. I think many fans on this forum have expressed their thoughts in an intelligent manner. It's not fair to assume their reaction is a knee jerk one because their statements were critical in nature.

Likewise, I have seen the positive knee jerk reaction. They sense the majority of the forum is "ganging up" on a person like Parcells, so they have to suddenly oppose the status quo and play peace keeper.

In my personal view, I have a great deal more respect for those fans who are angry and vent. It's like Peyton Manning said last night. Getting angry and depressed after a loss is the right attitude to have because it shows you are passionate about winning.

And, I'll say, I haven't been here THAT long, but if you look closely at what some posters are saying... a lot of these so-called knee jerk reactions, aren't really.

1-15 or 15-1 baby.Yeah we got problems but these too shall pass. Every one has a right to their opinion and all of these boards survive because of them. Just ask yourself if you are promoting your team? if so speak on, if not don't bother.

I will certainly admit promotion comes in many forms, and we should all have great discussion over the direction we would like to see this team go for the future. But we gotta game this saturday, welcome to Panther Week.JMHO

I just have one question..

Who will be next year's Shanle?

Someone has to take his spot next year, roaming around on the field everywhere looking absolutely lost.

Was Shanle really that bad?

You guys are going to force me to watch this pathetic game again to see how he played.

I know he was probably one of the members of our linebacking and secondary taking on Guards and Center all day in those Sweep plays.

Wouldnt be surprised if some of our guys had nightmares about the sweep since the Skins ran it on us oh.....about 1 million times.
