This would be a good trade to help the defense and especially the LBers

I do not see Dallas making any large moves.
And do not see them doing much on defense at all.

I could see them add a blocking TE to "complete" the offense.

But anything more than late round picks is probably a bridge too far.

Dallas has performed well up til now and is getting bodies along that DL back.

I don't think Dallas is going to make a trade before the deadline but if they do, I'd really like a big run stuffing defensive tackle, this team is soft up the middle against the run which concerns me going forward..... Next week the Vikings are going to expose the middle of this defense with Dalvin Cook if Dallas doesn't tighten things up in the middle...

That is an old article. It was from before game 3.

At this point Butler has played 46% of the snaps.

The Bills have already paid out 70% of his 2-year, 15M salary.

Buffalo is a Super Bowl contender at 4-2 with their division rivals at 2-4, 1-4 & 1-5.

Why would Buffalo trade him?

The Cowboys have some DTs scheduled to return from injury:
- Neville Gallimore: One of the top performers in the offseason per coaches comments.
- Trysten Hill: Was playing better than Gallimore in 2020 before the injury.

They also have multiple other players returning from injury and must find spots on the 53 for them.
DLaw
Collins
Gallup
Maybe Kelvin Joseph and a few others.

The Cowboys would need to give up a draft pick with enough value to entice a Super Bowl contending team to part with one of their core rotational DLinemen.

59.5 run grade stinks

i wish cowboys could add a big fat monster run stuffer though and u cant have too much dline depth ever but bills know that and they is trying to win a super bowl too.

Cowboys still don't value NT, and at $5.8M hard to see the FO paying that much + draft pick compensation.

Imo, with Gallimore n Hill set to return, plus Hamilton on PS.. I believe they'll do nothing further.
