Questionble hands
Limited Route Tree
Possibly product of that offense

However he does have speed

If you read the above statements,,,you could get a Trey Palmer who has similar good.bad issues and not spend a first round pick on him
Drops happen on slants and shorter passes with him as a couple other players but he ain't dropping any 40+ yard posts. Limited route tree is such a cop out with this guy, I watched 2 guys who actually study and watch film and said he is way more savvy than every says he is with being able to run routes and get separation. Product of the offense is kinda same as a cop out on the route tree, if a guy is beating defenses by 10+ yards who cares, it's his speed.

He scored 5 TDs against BAMA, nobody does that. It's Desaun Jackson all over again +2 inches in height with a bigger wing span. Whoever doesn't see it I don't know what else to say. Also NFL.com got him rated as the 9th best player in the draft and #1 WR on their board.

Not for a WR in the first round. Sorry.
Good receivers can be had down to round 4.
We need to run the rock. And sprinkle a little Dak in every now and then.
If it's Super Bowl-bound, our attack needs to stay on the ground.
I'm taking Robinson over Hyatt.
Keep running the clock with Lamb and Gallup not able to take the back end of the defense off. Everyone thinks Cooks will do that, it's not the same as having a D Jax or Harper type. Wow, just remembered Harper was from Tenn. This is the guy we need and would be lucky to get if he fell to us.

Most overrated player in recent years… one year wonder. Peerless Price clone waiting to happen!
What a dumb thing to say. Peerless Price clone? You just proved you know zero about football. 2 completely different players. This guy is a bigger version of D Jax. I feel sorry for you.

I don’t know where the bad hands came from…his career drop rate is 5ish percent which is well above average and less than half of some of the top prospects.

And yea the “can’t run routes” thing is a lazy eval. There is probably a 4.3 WR on just about every roster in the SEC and they didn’t destroy the competition like he did.

I'm on record for saying we won't take a WR or CB in the first round. But he may be the BPA if he's there at 26.

Oh please, Hyatt is another one year wonder and a product of Hooker. It’s really that simple and obvious!

I kind of agree. Jalen Hyatt will be a good player in due time.

I also agree with this.

Hyatt is difficult to evaluate but at the end of the day, he likely will be one of the best WRs in the draft. I'd say Flowers, Hyatt and Johnston.

The more I think about it, the more it becomes apparent that WR is a need.

Cooks is good. Lamb is good. Gallup can be good. But outside of that, we don't have anyone who scares teams.

I actually think Fehoko has a better chance of earning playing time this year than Tolbert. Call me crazy. The other thing to consider is the fact that a rookie WR may take some time to develop, and it would be good to have them here learning under a player like Cooks.

We also have to consider the fact that injuries happen. If Lamb goes down, we'd be in trouble, and our offense would suddenly look anemic.

Given the fact this draft is so deep at TE, and the fact we have two young guys who, based on last year, look like they can produce, I see WR as a bigger need than TE at this point.

Hyatt is a perfect WCO WR.

Plus, Gallup is my favorite player on the team. But that's just because of how he approaches the game, and how he handles himself as a teammate. He's a selfless player. But I'm not delusional about how his injury impacted his on-the-field play.

Look at Hyatt's long stride.. that's difficult to keep up with.

He's got the need. The need for speed.

I'd be fine trading up for him to 20 for him.

Can easily sew the Chargers or Ravens raking him if he's still on the board at that time.

LOL

Questionable hands?

His career drop rate is on par with JSNs and is less than half of that of Johnston and Flowers.

What makes you say that?

People make stuff up to fit their narrative.

Really good player, good value at 26. Shouldn't trade up for him, though, shouldn't trade up in the 1st for anyone ever if they're not a QB or a pass rusher.

I think when Cook was signed picking him in round 1 went to zero unless we trade down and he's still there.

I thought this was going to be about JSN. If he's there, he's the guy I'd take above all others.

Check out Hyatt's yards, and then ask yourself, what sticks out about his stats compared to other WRs in this draft?

I agree. He’ll probably be the 1st WR off the board.
