This Year's Draft

From all I've read and heard about the talent coming out this year, it seems there's a handful of players nearly everyone agrees are real studs. Then there are quite a few good players that are below them but so close in talent it's really difficult to judge where they'll be drafted.

It seems this year's draft is deep with talent but not deep in players that generate a lot of buzz. Are there any this year that are worth giving up future first rounders to move up to get?

It seems this year's draft is deep with talent but not deep in players that generate a lot of buzz. Are there any this year that are worth giving up future first rounders to move up to get?

The short answer: No. The most I'd be okay with the Cowboys packaging to move up is a comp 4th, but that has more to do with the fact that the Cowboys at this point have too many needs to fill. My mind may change following Free Agency, but not to the level of giving up next years 1st round pick to go get a player I like. My pet cats are Vita Vea, Derwin James and Rashaan Evans, but there is a slight chance one of those will fall to 19....especially Rashaan, so from my point of view, there will be no need for the Cowboys to over-extend themselves to come away with a quality player.

I like Evans and he fills a need. Is the buzz that his a two down backer true?
If so that cools my jets

If we needed a QB I’d consider moving up. But nothing else this year is worth investing a future 1st in. This isn’t like when there was Zeke, Bosa, Wentz, Goff and Ramsey. I don’t see transcending players in this draft.

But I do think this is one of the better drafts in terms mid to late draft.
