No one can say what would have happened for sure.
I know if you analyze the game tape there were 2 packers that looked like they would have cut him off.
Murray didnt have alot of speed. He could even be caught from behind.

And also lets say he doesnt fumble and runs for a td, that would have made the score late 28-26 dallas ahead.
Rodgers and GB could have easily got a fg and won.
I think GB would have won that game regardless due to the weak defense at that time.
Marinelli was dC and teams could drive on that defense rather easily.GB got several 1st downs to run the clock out at end , dallas couldnt stop them.

Yes...us not scoring there (hypothetical sure...but for the sake of the discussion), GB scoring on the turnover. And then scoring on the opening drive....had nothing to do with anything.

I get it....the game is a series of chaos theory. Some people believe in "momentum" in sports,maybe you do, maybe you don't. But if it does exist...that surely was a demoralizing dagger.

Fully agree, but you’re never going to convince anyone that that call didn’t lose the game.

It was a fourth down play with three minutes and change left. If Dez scores there Rodgers still only needs a FG to win.

If that crap defense couldn’t stop him after they turned it over on downs, why would they have stopped him if they scored?

When you are one sec away from being eaten by a tiger in the jungle you can either cry about your misery or enjoy yourself by those beautiful flowers around you.

Its your choice how you live your life. If you think its pathetic to look for something good to enjoy life because ypu understand its not in your power to change certain bad things then thats your opinion. But i doubt you have a fullfilled life with your approach.

Starting with the Catch; though one could argue all the way back to the Ice Bowl and earlier; where just one or two plays doomed us

I must agree with the premise of the thread title. I see the pieces and I see the work being put in. The only difference is we under went alot of change in this off-season. Not sure we are winning double digit games. Will we be improved? Yes. Will that mean a better record? Maybe not. We will need to temper our expectations. Don't give up on this staff and the plan. Much of our success will be determined in camp. Cohesion is a must.
