Lets see..........Who MAY be available...Shanahan? NOPE, Odds are he's coaching the Skins next year. Garrett, not just no, but HELLLLLLLLLLL NO, outsmarts HIMSELF on a consistent basis, gets wayyyyyyy too cute with the playcalling/scheme when he doesnt have to. Gruden? Thats my second choice. Holmgren??? BEST AVAILABLE to take over a ready made contender. In fact,...there isnt even a close second.

wow, your right.... i had him pinned for the guy who got the shaft and kept getting his desk moved around, but your right this guy came up with that 'make up your mind' invention didn't he. Must be the one JG and Wade are using now, better stay away from this guy.

I'll tell you all the truth, as I SEE IT, and you know...im pretty much always right...:D As Cowboys fans many of us had this sweet little fairy tale, went something like This.........Jason Garrett, being the young man he is, gets in a few years running the offense, some experience. He is then named head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He then goes on to coach the Cowboys for the next 10-15 years, winning a few Superbowls along the way and bringing stability to this organization that we havent had since Tom Landry. PROBLEM IS........Thats all it is....a FAIRY TALE that we wanted to believe. The odds are unbelievable stacked against it. Things like that just dont happen anymore in Pro football. Listen, there was only ONE Tom Landry, and he is passed on now. Be thankful we had the ONE OF A KIND we had with him. Now its on to our next best option. That would be Mike Holmgren, if we wanna actually get to and WIN a Superbowl with THIS TEAM that is.

The fairy tale is thinking Mike Holmgren would turn down a GM job in Seattle to be a HC in Dallas.
