if, and i mean its a bigger if, if Dallas wanted to fix this problem you have to pay the market. No other team put Dallas in this position. Dallas chose year in and year out to ignore this problem. This is the market, either pay it and try to win, or dont pay it, (which is what i am thinking is more their choice) and who cares what happens.

I'd love Thomas but no one is going to pay what Seattle is asking - and very likely won't pay the salary Thomas is asking for.

Honey Badger would be a good pickup but its usually buyer beware when a good player is cut after having serious injuries.

The most likely scenario is that this turns into a billion posts bashing the front office, then Xavier Woods takes over the FS spot next year and plays well. Its impressive for a rookie safety to be forced into playing slot corner, then playing the position well. With the offseason to improve Woods could be a very good FS next year. Clearly he can hit, can cover and has already shown he can make plays.
