Those two drops were huge. Another pass to him in the 4th quarter showed him running half speed. Any chance he is still mad at not getting a deal and trying to stick it to Jerry with half *** effort?

No way. Pickens wants to get paid long-term. He won't get it dropping bombs that fall right in his basket. Hopefully, he's hungry to redeem himself.

the drop before the half was significant, but we still probably lose with the defense literally unable to get off the field

The defense lost this game. Pathetic. The first drop by Perkins didn't matter as we had a penalty for illegal motion. But George has to catch that go route. How do you drop that? It wouldn't have mattered anyway. We could not stop that great Giants offense.

Who knows, maybe he is pissed about his contract so he is giving minimal effort.

Just one game, so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. However, if we see multiple games of drops and running half speed then you know whats up.

Did you learn communication so from the Dallas defense?

I disagree. That second drop changed the momentum considerably

It was readily apparent that the whole team was rusty. This is the downside to playing zero snaps in the preseason.

Harbaugh gave a tough camp. Schotty played it safe. The results speak for themselves last night.

But to assume GP was loafing bc he didn’t get his deal is a bad take. Why would he purposefully put out bad tape and display a lack of character if his goal is to get paid?

He stands to make way more long term if he balls out and is the good soldier.
